From the view of the lobby, the pool gate is padlocked so we assumed it was closed but there is a second gate to the right that allows access. There is no hot tub and only an outdoor pool. When entering the room, it had a musty smell but as we stayed we didn't notice it. It seemed like it rained the day before we arrived, so possibly that was the reason. We had only a standup shower in our bathroom and the floor of it looked dirty - not sure if stained or if it hadn't been scrubbed. The shower does flood the bathroom from an opening in the shower door. There was also construction noise outside at night 9pm-12am. The staff were nice and helpful. There is free breakfast in the mornings, I would get up early or take some back to the room because it gets busy! There were front parking spots every night for us and I would expect Semi's to be parked around since it is so close to the highway. The shower water pressure was great, water got really hot (just how I like it), and everything was in working order. Everything looked clean besides the shower floor. Overall, I think it was a great cheap option to stay in Miami! Just nitpicking little things that might bother others.

Dated lock on the patio door and barebones chairs on the balcony but not that big of a deal. Now to check the water....hot water took almost 5 PLUS mins to START to warm up for bathroom sink and outside sink....turns on hot water for the shower and it's starts to get warm in 2-3 mins but definitely worried that I'm gonna have to take lukewarm showers all week. So I go to the hotel resturant thinking this was former Shula hotel and I sorta remember Shula steakhouse so I thought that's what I would be getting....nope. The bathroom was clean, but a little bit awkward in the sink and the toilet space were separate (The sink was in the room and the bathtub and toilet separated by the door.) He listened, figured I needed REST after my earlier fiasco, and granted me a Noon checkout. He offered suggestion to eat at the onsite restaurant. My room was spacious and clean. Refrigerator and microwave. There were plenty of plugs and USB ports, in addition to ports for connecting gaming systems. Property is quiet and offers free airport shuttle. When I went to the lobby to pay for another night,I did complain about them giving a key to someone else that didn't even have I.D.! The blonde lady became super nasty and took my key and said I wasn't allowed to stay there anymore and they would put my stuff in lost and found because I had to go to work. She told me that no one could stay more than 2 days because of season. Not only did she lie,they never took my stuff out and threatened to throw it in the trash because I hadn't paid. Remember,she told me that I couldn't stay anymore. Very nasty person who should be fired.
