I stayed because I was too embarrassed to tell any one, or to leave, but I knew I needed help...and thus began a fifty-year search for a therapist that could help me get over my trauma. I went to many therapists, spent thousands of dollars, and couldn't find a therapist who understood why I couldn't get over it. It was purely by accident that I found Jason Johnson four years ago, and working with Jason as my therapist has been a life changing experience. Jason listened to me, he was calming when I related the horrible experiences I could not get past, he somehow understands how a woman feels about being abused and divorced at 20. Jason is patient and truly cares about his clients. Slowly he opened my eyes to what had gone wrong in my life as a whole and suggested small baby steps I could take to make my life more fulfilling.
