Every time I have been to this salon they have defrauded me in some way. This was the last time I will ever return. They are dishonest and try to find ways to up charge and overcharge you. I specifically asked for no gel, basic pedicure. Before I knew it, the guy was using a gel led light on my toes. I tried to speak to him but he acted as if he understood no English. When I went to pay they wanted to charge me $75. For the $25 basic no gel pedicure I asked for. This has happened every time I have gone, maybe twice a year. I went to a different salon and had to pay again because the nails were lifting and they did not sit correctly on my fingers. I'm disappointed I spent $70+ and then another $50+ to fix what they did. Three stars. And that's because my nail tech was super sweet, though I don't think gel is her forte. So I decided to treat my Mom and myself to a nail spa; all Mom wanted were white tips and I, the gel design you see below and a color change on my toes. So my nail tech guided me through finding all the colors I needed in gel and we began-nothing out of the ordinary except she seemed to add about six steps that I thought were unnecessary. Listen. Don't scoff at me--I've been getting my nails done for years and not once ever did anyone pull out the buffer and the file and the buffer and the file and the clippers then the grinder, then the file and back to the grinder, then the buffer again and you see where I'm going with this. About halfway through, I was nervous. Oh God. This is going to be a disaster. I wasn't wrong, and I wasn't right either, minus painting the cuticle and the design being a bit off, it wasn't that horrible. Will Mom and my next nail day be here? Possibly, but with a different tech. Was I disappointed? A little bit, as was my Mom, whose long nails were cut down the shortest I have ever seen them. She probably won't go back. As much as people have said they love this place and raved about it, I was very disappointed with my visit. They were busy which was a good sign, but when they started calling names on sign in sheet it was seemingly out of order (ex. They called my sister before a girl that was there before she was). She was there for a fill, which you can tell she needs from the picture. The guy proceeded to take off her polish, then go straight into painting her nails with the new polish color. When she asked if he was going to do the fill after he started painting, he told her he already did, which is obvious she never received one. After seeing this I completely took my name off the list because I wasn't wanting something like that to happen to me. When we went to pay, he told us that we would be charged for paint removal, a fill, and the paint change. We showed someone else working there that she obviously didn't get a fill, and thankfully weren't charged for it; but I know this situation could have been different for others since many people are afraid to speak up in nail salons. The first time I had my nails done here, I had Emily. She was quiet and non-responsive. My acrylic fill was just okay, and she cut into my cuticles which hurt for days afterward. For my next visit, I requested Serena and have been going to her ever since. She is quiet; not much engaging conversation, but I've gotten the results that I love. I have been going to Cherry Nails for about 2 years now. The techs always seem distracted to everything else going on in the shop and always seem to rush through to get to the next customer. I went in for a pedi and a fill in. I was in and out within an hour which I am not complaining about. This is the worst pedi I have had in 2 years. He only soaked my feet for about 5 minutes if that, he didn't exfoliate my feet with the fool file at all. My feet were as rough with dryness after I left as they were before I went in. Even after my 10% coupon, I paid $75 for a pedi and fill in. I don't think I will be back. Time to find another place. read more

i used to love this place, i went here for years. until i got a set of dip with tips done and within 4 days one of them had fallen off. they were very nice and replaced it, however within 3 days of getting them redone it had FALLEN OFF AGAIN. i have had nail sets that last 5 weeks. they will not redo them or remove them and said their policy is only one week, yet i had one replaced less than a week ago. this is their workers fault they cannot apply them correctly and they will not do anything about it. i will never give them my business again, and will start listening to people when they tell me how terrible their service and i should go to someone better. from experience, try anna nails or luxor. read more

My nails look amazing, my nail tech was super sweet, and the service was great. I just recommend that you double check everything that you're paying for. They did a gel polish on my nails and did the quick dry session without me asking for either of those nor being asked if I wanted them. Over the phone I was told that these nails would be 35$ for the nails and 10$ extra for the two nails with butterflies on them. So it would've been 45$ total. Instead they charged me 70$ I only paid them 55$ bc I didn't ask for the gel polish or for the quick dry session, they just did it without asking and then charged me for it. read more

The technician never apologized for my wait but on top of that the mani and polish was horrible. The polish wasn't applied to the back of the nails near the cuticle so the polish job looked like it was already 3 weeks old when I walked out. I was out of town and desperatly needed my nails done so I stopped at the first place I saw. The staff were nice but this is the WORST fill I have ever gotten in my life. I basically threw $50 out the window. 3 nails came off 4 HOURS after I got them done, and another 5 came off throughout the next day. I had to re-glue all of them back on which I could have done myself from walmart. If I lived in Paducah I would have been right back there the next day demanding for my money back. They're bulky and rigid. I can accept a bad nail job...but not her behavior towards the end of my experience. She asked if I was in a rush and I said no. She then stood up and acted as if she was going to vomit. I asked if she was okay; she said yes. But continued to fake dry heave and walk around the store saying "I'm sick, I'm sick, I want to go home". She actually thought it was a hilarious joke and was getting others to laugh. I come back to my seat to find a random 12 year old holding my items and the technician rushing me up to the front to pay her $55 not including tip. While traveling I stopped in Paducah for overnight. I wanted to be pampered so per the reviews I went here. After explaining what I wanted with emphasis on the leg and foot massage it never happened. 70.00 for a mani pedi was a little much for what was received. The pedicure was over within 30 min. Both legs have never had to "share" a hot towel. Never did get the foot mThe manicure did not include any massage of the hands nor antiseptic for the cuticles. My nails were not soaked either. I was assured my toes were dry and told to put on my socks. When I got back to the hotel my toes are all smudged. Of course they are closed now and do not open until 9 in the morning. I had my nails done by Jack Tuesday as he filed my cuticles back he ended up cutting into my finger leaving me bleeding but my nails looked great at first glance so I over looked that. But once I got outside into natural lighting I could see how bad they looked, uneven huge spots were missed (dip powder ombre) and today Sunday they are already starting to fall off. paid $65 ($70 after tip) for shit nails that didn't even last a week.
