There is loads of rubbish too but some real bargains if you have time to look around the store. This is really great for kids presents and household items. Sometimes you have to queue for a while as this store is very popular and gets busy. Look out for the cut price fragances behind the till too. This store tends to stock most toys that are in the big chain stores with amazing prices sometimes up to £15/£20 cheaper and it is the same item.

The garden centre itself is very large having loads of good stuff on sale. Outdoors plays host to cold water fish and the usual array of plants. Indoors sees tropical fish gardening equipment and pet toys along with seasonal gifts such as christmas trees,lights and decorations. They have a meat counter too for fresh meats and cheeses which is really nice!

There is a large choice of plants, but it is manily the rest of the shop that creates the bulk of the trade. You can expect all sorts of gardening related wares, also pets and associated goods, presents of all kinds, toys, games etc. This must be the largest place locally for Christmas goodies in the area, and it is very busy when the season comes. There is a farm/food store on site with some nice selections of cheeses and meats behind the counter, also speciallity foods. In summer the site has a nature trail and maize maze for children as well as a petting corner. I find the goods in the garden centre a bit pricy but I enjoy going round occasionally on Sundays.

There are plenty of offers about, though for some bits bit may be cheaper to go to Poundland or Asda. I like the fact that you can walk in and pretty much get anything practical, and it's especially useful being a student.

A salesman came over to us to inform us that the store room was open. I wasn't sure whether to be pleased with that or slightly insulted that they thought maybe we couldn't afford the shop floor sofas? All in all the shop is very well set out and the salespeople do leave you to get on with it.

There's also a vast selection of towels, it's quite superstore like inside, in a retail park with a few other large shops. Their wares are reasonably priced, generally there's a sale on or a large discount on everything. Basically if you need any kind of textiles, they've got it. There is also a large customer car park which is handy as you probably wouldn't like to leave your car around in radford!
