Finished it off w two pieces of cake (Snickers and Prince) and a great Americano. Outside and inside seating. Clean bathroom. Super friendly staff. Wish I had more time to see all the grocery items that they had. Hope to return very soon!

Y'all, this place is so good! It has a familial feel to it, like you're going to someone's house…read more They have both a grocery and cafe inside. There are tables inside the cafe and outside undercover. When you walk around, there are SO many things to see: hot food, snacks, chocolate, candies, cakes, pastries, different variety of tinned fish, all kinds of pickled things in a jar, dry pasta of various types, more treats, juices, syrups, tea, and a refrigerator/freezer section filled with milk, cheese, butter, fish, and SO much more! Highly recommend if you want to step out of your comfort zone and try new things. The cafe also has a nice list of things they offer. For drinks: coffee, tea, matcha latte and shakes with different syrups. For food: sweet + savory crepes, soups, and pirogies + dumplings, which you can find in the freezer section as well. Then there's the dessert display with macarons, cakes, baklava, and eclairs. My sister and I got the blackberry matcha, mocha, potato pierogis, chicken dumplings, lemon eclair and pistachio mousse cake. Everything was wonderful. We were obsessed with the pierogis and dumplings. They were so flavorful, warm and filling. We'll definitely come back.

Hong Phat Food Center - Tip: Look for condensation inside the container to know how long you've got before the quality dips--don't just rely on the "Sell By" label.

This 5/5 review solely for the Pâté Gan (liver spread) from the refrigerated deli near the front…read more Oh My Goodness ... I finally found something to Yelp about here! I've been a longtime, low-key regular at Hồng Phát for all things Vietnamese and random grocery needs, but this time I found my reason to shout about it. After what felt like a lifetime of hovering and debating, I finally went for it and picked up their Pâté Gan (liver spread) from the refrigerated deli case near the front. Let me tell you: SPREADABLE GOLD! 8oz hand-filled container for $5.95 and worth every single bite. Listed ingredients? Pork Liver, Pork Fat, Pork. (We all know there's more in there, but I'm not here to investigate, just to celebrate.) As a pâté-obsessed Bánh Mì DIY, this blew me away. -Texture: Silky and spreadable perfection. -Taste: Deep, rich, and satisfying without being overly gamey. - Smell: Divine, for those who love a good pâté, you know what I mean. This is officially my new go-to pâté source, alongside my other favorites scattered along 82nd Ave. TIP: Since it's hand-packed from a larger batch, look for condensation inside the container. It can give you a clue about how fresh it is and how long you've got before the quality dips. Don't just rely on the "Sell By" label. Honestly, I still can't believe I slept on this for so long with my skepticism. If you're even mildly into pâté or making your own Bánh Mì at home: run, don't walk.

I came here looking for jaffa cakes to send in my friend's care package. I found more than what I…read morewas looking for! It was rather easy to locate, the store is small, but it does pack a punch. There's a lot of fun items here, you just might have to explore the aisles. I was surprised by the variety that they offer. They did have huge deli fridges and a large fridge filled with baked goods that I wouldn't mind coming back to check out. The people working were busy stocking so it took them awhile to help me check out, but they were very kind. The unfortunate thing was that one of the jaffa cakes I had purchased was already expired. I didn't realize until I got home.

I love this lil hidden gem of a market…read more The ladies in here are always so sweet and kind and I have to admit that even though they don't have the deli of cooked foods like Roman's but I believe their prices are so much better. In this economy I am ALWAYS out looking for bargains to share. The pelmeni are only $4.99 a lb and their wonderful selection of deli meats are probably some of the best around. Mortadella (Doctorsky) bologna or their smoked smoked sausages. We always get the (Moskovsky) one as well. Most Russian delis don't have huge selections of fresh produce but you can count on them having the staples for a Russian/Ukrainian household. I got staples like dill, potatoes, cabbage, beets, buckwheat, teas, manaya kasha, deli meats/cheeses, chocolates, sour cream, farmers cheese, freshly baked bread and kvass here. I get to practice my Russian when I come, and that's when I realize how out of practice I am, that my tongue is no longer cooperative with words that I used to be able to pronounce just fine. But they do speak English and are happy to assist you.
