My one bedroom apartment is the perfect size for me- enough space to have friends over for events, but not excessive. The complex itself has plenty of parking for residents and visitors alike. I've rarely had any maintenance issues, and when I do, they are amazingly prompt (even for minor things like a clogged drain)! It's generally quiet and peaceful here on the weekends, but when I've had parties I've never had any complaints. A grocery store and a variety of restaurants are within walking distance, as well as a convenient bus stop. My only complaint is in regards to television and internet. The Windstream company has a kind of monopoly on the complex and I think it's a little over-priced for basic Internet. Also, Lion's Gate advertises "free cable"- however it's only basic channels (ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX). Technically it is television through a cable since everything is digital now, but I was expecting a little bit more. At least it's free though! This is my first experience as a college student living off campus and it's been great- I'm pretty sure I've been spoiled with such a positive experience.

Without visiting it first, the website and photos are accurate, and there were no surprises while I was there. The property is on the quiet - average size. Again, I lived in a building where parties didn't happen to often, and of course if they did, you heard everything. I had a 2 bedroom apartment: huge living room, dining room, SMALL kitchen, nice size bedrooms and bathrooms. The smaller bedroom had a tiny closet, whereas the master bedroom had a walk-in closet that was spacious. Parking was never an issue. No assigned parking spots (but this was a few years ago). Laundry facility on site - not in every building. I think the ratio is 1:3 buildings. Again, never went and had to wait. Quarter operated. Small (and old) laundry machines. Never had an issue with clothes "magically" walking away. If anything, most college kids left their laundry in the machines! Also, this place is not filled with college kids. There are families that live here too. The property is well lit at night, and I never felt that my safety was an issue. If you have large packages mailed to your apartment, they will be delivered to the main office. You do not need to work about packages sitting out by your door or underneath the mail boxes. There are two bus stops at the location. One is closer to some buildings than the other, but they take you to the same space. It was "R" bus line. I found it quicker to take this bus in the morning to get to class vs. driving to the stadium, picking up the bus, and taking it to class. If you are attending PSU and plan on being their for more than 1 year (ex: 2 year graduate school), do your first lease for a full year, unfurnished and the 2nd year for a 9 1/2 month lease for your last year of school. It is cheaper to have a full year and pay for a full year, even with being gone during the summer, than moving out and moving everything back in. Why go through the hassle? It costs you more to move out and back. CONS: The wooden floors are sooooo thin that you can carry on a conversation with your neighbor downstairs or yell at each other because clearly you are disturbing them being above them. I hated this with a passion. I couldn't even hum without hearing them bagging on my floor. If I wore heels and walked across the floor, it was disturbing them. This was the biggest negative to this place. The walls are not any better.

Although the apartments are not the cheapest in town, I really enjoyed living at Paramount Circle…read moreand found it worth the price if you can budget for it. For $945 a month, we rented a two-bedroom, two-bath unit with a great layout for roommates (bedrooms at opposite ends of the apartment), including two parking spaces. We got all-new high-end appliances, including a glass-ceramic top stove. The apartment was simply quality: everything was relatively new and undamaged. The fitness center on-site was a great perk. Although their official materials permitted only two pets, we had three cats between the two of us and they OK'd this with no trouble. Our lease was scheduled to be up at the end of July, but when we both found places to live by June they offered to end our lease a month early to save us having to pay double rent.

We just renewed our lease for the 2nd time, which should strongly indicate that we are happy. Management while sometimes hard to get on the phone has always been easy to work with and honest. To us it seems like they care not just about their property but also their tenants. We live at the paramont woods complex on oakwood. It's well maintained with a dedicated Super. Any time during the week we've asked him to take a look or fix something, his response has always been "Is now a good time?" Also he's super friendly. Our complex is also pet friendly (one time albeit large deposit), and if I had to venture a guess, about 65% of all the tenants have a pet.

The prices to rent is pretty much the same standard process anywhere. There is a pool with limited hours available to tenants, there is a small gym s well, but nothing fancy. The community is quite and fairly well maintained. There are a few things that needed maintenance in the apartment, and so far the management office has been pretty quick to respond and take action.

I have lived in the building for 8 years now, and have never been disrespected by management. There is nothing wrong with the ventilation system. After living here for 8 years, I would have heard about people getting sick from a lack of ventilation, but I have not. All of the appliances are current. All tenants even just got brand new refrigerators about a year ago. The building even put computers in on the first floor for tenant use. Tenants are not told to move if they express concerns to management.

I use realitor not good and acted unprofessional when I terminated her services so i decide to use my own realitor and pay the termination fee. I go put in my 60 day notice they require and want termination fee up front our will not take my notice i try to explain that my break fee check is coming when i close on house. Nope the manager Shannon says it has to be upfront our can not take my notice causeing me to keep apartment longer. I understand i have a lease and willing to pay my termination so they still getting there money just very greedy, rip off, unwillingness to work with residents and unethical company STAY AWAY.
