We are extremely disappointed with our experience during the admissions process at KLA Academy…read more Throughout our interactions with the school, we were left with the clear impression that our son would be attending. At no point was it communicated to us that admission was still uncertain or that there was a significant possibility he would be denied placement. Based on those conversations, we planned accordingly and believed we had secured a spot for the upcoming school year. After completing the application process, attending observations, and investing significant time and effort, we received a generic rejection email with no meaningful explanation or feedback. While we understand that schools have the right to make admissions decisions, families also deserve transparency and clear communication about expectations throughout the process. What was most disappointing was not the decision itself, but feeling completely blindsided by it. If admission was still being evaluated, that should have been clearly communicated from the beginning so families could make informed decisions and pursue alternative options. For a school with this reputation and tuition level, we expected a much more transparent and professional admissions experience.

Our son has had some health issues and the school was extremely supportive and made sure that it didn't get in the way of my son's learning and that he continued to excel. I love that the school offers outdoor activities during the day from recess (kids need time to just play!) to gardening to art projects and nature scavenger hunts. They also have an app that allows you communicate directly with teachers or administrators and sends daily photos of the various projects your child is doing. Additionally the school offers a host of enrichment classes (at an additional fee) which you can sign your child up for from soccer to karate to dance or piano. Now as my son is in his final year at Global Connection, he is already writing, starting to do math and learning how to read. He loves learning and is well prepared for Kindergarten. We love this school and will deeply miss everything about it next year. In short, can not recommend it enough!!!

She has given us plenty of great tips on how to support our son through various challenges. She is a professional you can trust every step of the way. I really appreciate that the school has a strong value system, so kindness and respect are truly FELT in the classrooms. My son is quite sensitive, so it was precious to have peace of mind and know that he feels safe at school. Last but not least, the school administration has been very responsive and forthcoming to meet all our needs. This kind of flexibility and personal approach is impossible to find anywhere else from my experience. I highly recommend Village Montessori to parents that are looking for excellent early education. It's a classic Montessori school with high standards, the teachers and director regularly advance their education, and we could see how the management are constantly striving to improve things - teachers training, free seminars for parents, events, classroom improvements, etc. We are really grateful to Village Montessori, Ms Sujata, Joan, Mike and the team for creating such a special community and experience during the formative years of our child's life!
