The principal is so nice and is actively checking classes every day to make sure the teachers are doing their job. A lot of my teachers are really nice. It's a great school honestly I don't really see any flaws.

This is my personal experience with this school. After reading you can form your own opinion…read more I had my 13 year old in this school & currently have my 8 and 9 year old attending. They joined back in 2021. This school is ran very politically so if you aren't ready to become close friend with facility or provide them with some sort of financial incentive, prepare to feel like the odd ball. Other than that the facility is a bit, historic. Taken care of to their best ability. Sometimes things are broken and they get to them when they can. There will be stalls out of order until they can get to them. There will be instances where the ac doesn't function so well.... So now the incident that drove me withdraw my daughter. My daughter was seen with a mark on her face during class. Her teacher, Ms.Amargada I think it is, saw this and brought it up too the principal, Marisol. They both decided to call me (only Marisol spoke) and ask me if I knew anything about the mark on her face. I was confused because I was being called at 12:30 on the afternoon being asked as if I knew. I appreciate the initial concern and communication...the call continued on with Marisol asking me the same question in different forms. I simply asked they spoke with my daughter about this, which they did not. After the bright idea came into their head to ask my daughter, they called me back with her and told us both that she could call dcf. She asked my daughter if everything was going on and she assured her that everything was fine. We hung up for a second time. I gave the school a call back because I won't say it but I'm sure you can see what was being implied. I called back and let Marisol know that she had my permission to go into my 8 and 9 year olds class and ask them whatever she would like about my household , had she had any assumptions, I let her know to please ask away to my two smaller children and clear it up. To which she chose not to, stating and I quote, "I do not want to involve them". My daughter ended up clearing up what happened in the form of a text via a friends phone, about 10 minutes after the 3 phone calls. The next morning I went in and showed Marisol the message. Then I proceeded to transfer my daughter out of the school. They were clearing trying to villainize me and it was clear from the begging their tunnel vision on the matter. A call to ask about a mark or ANY concern for that matter of fact should never involve implications towards anyone about abuse, without reason to believe, it also shouldn't included a threat to call other entities. That wasn't correct of Marisol. So I peacefully withdrew my daughter. Marisol did in fact call dcf, they came to my home. I had the pleasure of explaining to them this, they spoke to my children , the same children she didn't want to involve because she knew that wouldn't have fit her narrative, then they advised me to complain about Marisol because how they put it to me, mater is a company & the customer service that I was receiving wasn't mirroring their brand values. Also the fact that Marisol's actions towards me showed to be very direct and intentional. I have no intention to do so but I do hope this helps who ever it may. You have a lot of good reviews, be mindful, to have a lot of money in your pocket and a fake smile to hand out, if not you too can find yourself in my situation.

From the very beginning, it was clear this was more than just a school. It felt like a second home. What stood out most was the teachers. They didn't just teach our children, they truly loved them. You could feel it in the way they greeted them each morning, the patience they showed, and the care they took in understanding each child as an individual. As parents, there's nothing more reassuring than knowing your children are safe, seen, and deeply cared for when you're not there. The Montessori approach was thoughtful and nurturing, encouraging independence, curiosity, and confidence in a way that always felt age appropriate and respectful. We watched our children grow not just academically, but emotionally and socially, and we credit so much of that to the environment and people at Morningside. We will always be grateful for the years our family spent there. Morningside Montessori helped shape our children in the most loving and supportive way, and we couldn't recommend it more highly.

The teachers were all great, supportive, and very knowledgeable. All teachers are certified Montessori teacher since they are required to take the courses. We love interacting with Ms. Jenny. She was very quick in responding to our email every times and assisted with our needs efficiently. The Montessori curriculum is great for social development, and this school does it very well. Our kids social and language skills are above the average of the kids their age. Village Montessori has a nice supportive community and they have events for the parents and kids to enjoy. My only wish was that they have a bigger playground and shaded play area for the kids to play in. Also the turnover for the teachers were quite high in the past year. The children will be more comfortable with their learning if they have the consistency with the teachers. If you live in the area and have preschool aged kids, I highly recommend this school.

My favorite part of the elementary class, is kids don't get busy work or "homework" sent home and actually learn what they need to in class. My son has excelled tremendously since switching over from a catholic school both academically and spiritually. Before eating and before sleeping he learned to say his prayers thanks to the school and loves hearing bible stories he learned about in class. The facility was very tidy and roomy considering it's one big open space for sessions. I love that there's a no cell phone policy it makes me feel like they're truly honing in with each individual child to teach our children to be the best they can be. I was told they're a personalized curriculum for every child based on their current abilities and the goal for them I think that's fantastic. My children will be in good hands. I love that everything is reviewed after completion to proof and reinforce they've mastered all areas of the assignments. They typically give Classwork and homework that's perfect because with the cost of tuition for such short sessions I would love to see if my funds are going to good use. I didn't like that the parent/guardian is the only individual that can bring the child, you're required to stay with the child until sessions are completed or at least that's the understanding I got. I typically don't get off work untill about 6pm which they'd missed some of their sessions if I can't have someone else bring and pick them up. There's got to be a better way within reason. I also didn't like that the instructor suggested another location as I'd already made up my mind as to which site I was most comfortable with. I felt shipped away.

A staff member named Carolina (also referred to as Caroline), who appeared to work as a floater, pinched my son while he was in her care. I immediately reported the incident to the director and requested that she be suspended while I arranged to transfer my son to another daycare. The following day, after her suspension became known among the staff, two teachers pulled me aside in the infant room and asked me to speak with the director about shortening Carolina's suspension. I felt this was highly inappropriate and unprofessional. As a parent, I should not have been placed in the middle of an internal staffing matter, especially after reporting an incident involving my child. Although Carolina was eventually allowed to return to work, I remained deeply concerned about my son's safety. I reported the incident to the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) and also filed a police report. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this daycare. Parents deserve to feel confident that their children are safe, respected, and cared for appropriately.
