I was told that I could pay with a debit card instead, but this was a mistake as the company forced me to wait for over 2 hours to get a credit card refund. I don't say this lightly: this is the worst customer experience I've had in my life. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but every interaction I've had with this place has been an absolute disaster. You can't trust a word that Mike or Gil says.

I brought my car in for issues I believed to be the transmission and asked if they could take a look at it and let me know if these assumptions were correct. Mike (the person who inspects the vehicles) was quick to diagnose my car and it's issues which he stated were my transmission and also that I would need a tune up. From here I agreed to let them replace the transmission for me and do the tune up. Fast forward a week later I was called by Mike being told that my car was ready for pick up. Upon arriving, they let me test drive it before doing all of the paper work. This is where it gets very frustrating. The test drive revealed that the same issue I had before I brought my car in for repair was STILL happening after they "repaired" it. This is after week of them having my car and after they have already charged me over $5000 for my car repairs. They then take it back for another week to "take a look" at it again. Upon receiving my car again they told me it was my cylinder #1!!! This makes me wonder if I even needed a new transmission. My confidence in their work is little and I honestly feel like they pulled a fast one on me since I'm a 22 year old college student who knows very little about cars. I don't suggest going here, they left me concerned on whether or not my car will be broken again within a couple months and made me definitely feel like I was lied to on what the issue really was with my car.

I WILL ATTACH PHOTO(S) to illustrate my negative review. In June 2023 I delivered my Mercedes to Freeman's new location and was happy for John that he located a larger facility after having his previous location claimed by the expansion and construction on GA 20 (Cumming Hwy) in Canton. My experience this occasion was not even 10% Pleased. I initially took my Mercedes to Freeman's shop on Mill St to have them properly install the top radiator hose using Mercedes approved locking device. John stated he wasn't positive he could purchase that part individually and ordered new thermostat housing with new thermostat. Instead of Freeman's mechanic, (KK -and I use that title with serious reservation) inspecting or testing the new thermostat for compliance, the new thermostat built such internal pressure in the cooling system. Though KK never tested this repair sufficiently before claiming his task was road worthy. After his mechanic (KK) replaced the Thermostat housing and thermostat, again, I was charged $892.28 and sent on my way. Driving to Oncologist for wife's treatment the car ran hot on I-575 South and by the time we could safely stop, the pressure in the cooling system had blown the top radiator hose in two, losing all the coolant. I called John Freeman for best advice at that point, and he suggested a local tow service. That was a serious mistake on my part, as the tow bill was $200, a total RIP-OFF. When the vehicle was next released to me, they had replaced the radiator, thermostat (again), upper & lower hoses, expansion tank and replaced coolant (without verifying the coolant level after signing off and releasing the Mercedes with less than proper coolant level). I noted the car was running too hot and checked coolant level at home to discover the system had air lock and was over one gallon low on coolant. Granted the radiator had a previously repaired leak that the overheat had caused to dissipate and the new radiator was a fair choice of repair from Freeman. Overall, I have paid invoices ($1,577.87) to Freeman Automotive for slip shod work that amounts to throwing parts at my car, rather than making the diagnostics necessary and totally ignoring my initial request that they properly attach my top radiator hose using Mercedes approved latching device. The current lower radiator hose which also acts as the Heater hose bypass is an improper part and is too long to fit as intended. Rather than return it, the mechanic (KK) crimped it and left it to reduce the coolant flow. You can see photo of that crimped hose (attached). I have photos, invoices and witnesses that prove to any reasonable person that I have not exaggerated, nor slandered Freeman Automotive or any person employed there. Add all the above to the FACT that because there was no testing prior to releasing my MERCEDES the pressure and OVERHEATING cause the head gasket(s) to blow out. I have no idea which gasket Right or Left bank but best estimates to replace gaskets are from low @$3,800.00 to high @ $4,600.00 and those do not include any additional parts or labor not included in base estimates. After reading my review of Freeman Automotive and his mechanic, KK, my final comments are: Would any Mercedes Benz, BMW, Volkswagen or even lawnmower owner still take their expensive vehicle to Freeman Automotive? Believe me when I clearly state that you would do less damage by throwing burning $100.00 dollar bills at your car than allowing them to literally charge unreasonable fees to throw parts and perform sub-standard repairs.
