That dog could have died. To make matters worse, my own dog came back with cuts on his inner leg (photo attached). When I called to raise my concerns, the owner herself spoke to me in an unbelievably condescending tone, repeatedly talking over me, dismissing everything I said as if my complaint was beneath her -- and then actually hung up the phone mid-sentence, refusing to even let me finish speaking. What's even more appalling is when I brought up the concern for the other dog, she told me it was "not my concern" and that I had "nothing to do with it." I literally witnessed the entire incident with my own eyes. The fact that she tried to silence me instead of acknowledging the danger made me feel sick about leaving my own dog there. This business is not only dangerous for pets, it's run by an owner who is arrogant, rude, dismissive, and completely incapable of taking accountability. The lack of empathy, professionalism, and basic care is staggering. Do not trust your pets here. If you value their safety, avoid this place at all costs. This is a reckless, hostile business that has no business being around animals.

Such a relief to know that they were in the best hands and we could simply enjoy ourselves. The daily updates were so funny and creative that we would look forward to them daily! "Ooh ooh ooh, Linda update!" We came home to a tidy house, clean litter, written reports about our cats, the sweetest welcome home card chocolate and very disappointed cats...I don't think they were too happy to see us home and Linda no longer there to spoil them rotten. We all love our pets like family and want the best for them when we are away.....Linda at Misty Blue Kitty Care is the very very best. Thanks so much Linda for your amazing care and personal touches! My puppy was being crate trained and needed to be crated after every visit, and the visits were basically to let him out to be relieved and get some exercise and water through the day. First, the pros: - prices are very competitive: I was paying $12 per half hour puppy visit, whereas other similar businesses charge over $20 per visit for the same thing - the walker assigned to my puppy, Alfonso, was great with him, and clearly cared a lot for him, even texting me pictures when he was sick with worms once The cons: - twice in 2 months I came home to the puppy being free, and an additional time I was told the puppy was free during the day between visits - horrible customer service; instead of apologizing for the mistakes (not latching the crate securely), the owner John constantly deflected, blaming the puppy for escaping (impossible considering the type of crate being used), when a simple 'sorry' would have done wonders - they simply didn't respect specific requests; my puppy came down with canine cough and I instructed the walker not to bring him to the off leash park so he wouldn't infect others- they kept bringing him nevertheless - on days where my puppy would spend all day at 'daycare' with John due to the walker being unavailable (which was once a week), he would come back stinking of cigarette smoke Even though the price was great, I couldn't justify spending $450 a month on a service I felt didn't have good enough customer service and didn't respect me as a customer.

No bed side matter or customer service. Without having another vet lined up, we canceled our appointments and asked for our files. I'm ashamed that we let this animal hospital treat us the way they did for so long. For those of you looking for an AMAZING animal hospital in Mississauga, please look up Thomas and Glen Erin Animal hosptial. We were shocked; actually taken back, with how friendly, knowledgeable and professional everyone was at this animal hospital. To top it all off, their prices are great. This was our first time in 11 years where we didn't have anxiety around how the visit would go; how we would be spoken to, or how our pets we would be treated. At avonlea, it's all about how much money they can make, not the pets or the owners. I wish I had the courage to do this earlier. Unfortunately, I just read your response regarding my review. This was the prime reason for our departure; namely service. Unprofessional.

She can be timid at times, so the positive reinforcement training Rover Achiever's uses has really helped our dog's confidence. She always is beaming when she gets back from her walks... then is a lump on the couch for hours! If that isn't four paws up, I don't know what is! Unfortunately, we are moving out of the Rover Achiever catchment area so we have to find another dog walking company. We, both the skinned and furry, are really really going to miss the friendly and helpful staff. They were always very understanding and accommodating for our dog. We are really sad that we have to say goodbye. I wholeheartedly recommend this company if you are thinking that your dog needs a little extra outside and with other dogs! Orchard Grove's Dr. Erica evaluated my dog on September 1, 2023. I went directly from there to an…read moreEmergency clinic. Dr. Erica sent me with a bag of my dog's urine, which she extracted. She said she was not going to test the urine and that the Emergency clinic should do the test. I paid Orchard Grove $788 for the services I received that day. On September 5th I phoned and asked for a refund for the urine extraction. The reason being, the Emergency clinic told me the urine was useless because it was contaminated as a result of the collection procedure. Orchard Grove responded with a lie. Namely, a claim that they ran their own urinalysis. I also asked for a refund of other charges because Dr. Erica made a grave misdiagnosis. She said my dog was in emergency kidney failure, due to chronic kidney disease, was not likely to recover, but if she did, would live only another 1-2 years. I looked up signs and symptoms of chronic kidney disease and remarked that my dog had never shown any of the signs or symptoms. Dr. Erica answered that it was because the disease was 'silent'. A few hours later I received an email from Orchard Grove's Director, Alex Sunarich, BSc, DVM. What follows is my reply to that email. As you will read, the email was packed with lies to create the impression that they operate a competent business. Your message contains lies.  At no time did I say your staff are only in it for the money.  The urine was not collected without needles and punctures as you described. For, the collection resulted in my bath towel being so completely bloodied that both Laura and Erica said the towel was not salvageable and had to be thrown out.  Contrary to what you wrote, your tests were not validated by the tests completed by the Emergency clinic. Subsequently, the Emergency doctors disagreed with Erica's diagnosis.  Contrary to your claim that Erica deemed Joy to be dehydrated, Erica  remarked that she was pleased to see how well hydrated Joy was. Erica rolled back and lifted Joy's lip, pointed to the gums and said, you can see she is hydrated because her gums are wet.  Contrary to what you claim, Erica made the wrong calls diagnostically. She ruled out pancreatitis and declared that Joy was in emergency kidney failure due to 'silent' chronic kidney disease. The Emergency clinic ran tests that ruled out kidney failure and confirmed pancreatitis.  You wrote that Erica 'saved Joy's life', when in fact she might have put her life at risk. Specifically, because Erica urged me to take Joy to a critical care facility that specialized in emergency kidney failure. Had I followed that advice Joy would have received the wrong treatment; the life threatening pancreatitis would have been ignored.  A courtesy discount on a misdiagnosis is meaningless.  As I informed Laura, I will be sharing my experience on internet review sites. I am especially motivated to do so after receiving your message here, so packed with lies.  Regarding the test results attached to your email. Those pages were not shown to me when I was at your clinic. Given that your email to me is so packed with lies, I suspect you created those pages today, further to my phone call and fashioned them to correlate with the tests done at the Emergency Clinic.
