He and our photographer Amy from Amy Wellenkamp Photographers have worked together on many events and it was clear they knew how to capture what we wanted, and how to help the other capture something. I'm so excited to see what our video shows. I always felt comfortable and "me." He, nor Amy, ever asked us to do something that didn't feel genuine or out of character and I really like that. Thanks again, Ryan.

Dylan was so nice, engaging, and even asked us if there were any poses we had in mind for him to take. He also asked me if I preferred black & white photos, grainy photos, candids, etc. I thought that was really nice to ask me that because it made me feel confident he would deliver exactly what I had in mind. He sent our sneak peaks to us within 2 days and the rest of the photos within a week. They came out perfectly. Better than I could imagine! I'm so thankful for this beautiful moment and being able to look back on it, thanks to Dylan and his wonderful talents!!

ZOMG, Adam & Chelsea were AMAZING!!!!! My now-husband & I…read morebooked them for our October 2024 wedding for both photography & videography (this review is long overdue, I know) From the initial consultation all the way to when they delivered the final pictures/film --- they were an absolute dream to work with. Our package came with a free engagement shoot but since we already had our engagement shoot, we invited them to come a day early (only if they could) & capture our rehearsal. They didn't miss a beat - they were there during our rehearsal run-through at our venue and were able to get a lay of the land prior to the big day. After our rehearsal, it was golden hour so of course, Adam took a couple shots of my husband & I (took not even 10 min) & let me tell you, from the previews he sent me THAT night --- I was so blown away with how beautiful they turned out. He definitely has an eye for it! FYI - Our package also came with an additional photographer & videographer. So when it came to the day of, they introduced us to James (from StateFarm, lol) & Laura. This completed the DREAM TEAM! Cannot stress how amazing it was to work with these 4, A. MA. ZING! Being the Type-A bride that I was, I provided Mooncrest with a Shot List on request & they delivered on that. They made sure to get the shots we wanted & even some bonuses that we didn't think about. This is why we leave it up to the professionals :) They were professionals but it also felt like we were surrounded by friends. I know they probably get this all the time, but they were hella cool & tbh, if we lived closer - they'd be awesome to hangout with. We received our final edited photos right before Christmas so it served as an early Christmas present to finally see pictures from our wedding & WOW, they turned out so beautiful! From the edits to the stolen (candid) shots - AMAZING (using that word for the millionth time in this review). When we received our Teaser Film, they also provided a "Message from your guests" video, which was a complete surprise for us & a wonderful surprise at that. It was so cool to see our friends and families wishing us well, behind-the-scenes style. Such a great bonus! Once we received our full wedding video, they provided a Documentary Edit so that we can relive the moments in real time - First look, private vows, ceremony, & speeches. So, something to make note of - during the initial consultation --- my husband only had one request, he wanted to make sure all the speeches were recorded. So I am guessing this led to them providing the Documentary Edit & we are soooo thankful for this. It's something we can watch over & over again & relive the key moments. Our final wedding film took the cake! Adam & his edits, geeez louis! This man has got the eye and talent. His edits were impeccable & we couldn't have dreamed of a better way of capturing one of the most important days of our lives. From the songs he chose (which he used our friend's cover who performed during our cocktail hour) to the cuts/transitions -- *chef's freakin' kiss! The day of our wedding went by in a blur but the photos and film captured, we will forever cherish. Mooncrest helped us remember things that happened during the day that we don't even recall because it went by so fast. We would recommend them to anyone and everyone. If you want pictures that look like they're out of a magazine and videos give you the feels - BOOK MOONCREST! You will not regret it!

Knowing how fantastic of a job she did on my wedding I reached back out to her a second time, this time to do maternity photos. Not only is Laura an amazing wedding photographer, she is also fantastic at maternity photos as well! Being pregnant in the middle of a pandemic didn't allow for any of the usual events and activities most pregnant women get to experience, so the fact that Laura went out of her way to take safety precautions to capture my maternity photos meant a lot. I cannot thank her enough for being there to capture now two of most important times in my life.

Thank you for your patience and working through our hiccups, which I'm sure no wedding is short of. Thank you so much for allowing us to incorporate Louie's car into our pictures which was a bit last minute but your team handled it so well and even made us look like models! We hired Derek to provide a photo booth for our organization's annual appreciation dinner. We have never had anything like this before but wanted something fun for our members to do during cocktail hour and we were not disappointed. Derek was very responsive to our emails and worked with us to create a custom design for the photo template. He was on time to set up and ready to go when our guests arrived. His props were clean and updated... nothing dirty or torn like I have seen before with another vendor. They made sure the table was always tidy and organized after each group took photos. I was so impressed with him during our email and phone calls I decided to hire him for my 50th Birthday Party the following week. Like at the work event, he was on time and very responsive to any requests. I even ordered the custom wood photo album and it is beautiful. Derek's wife, Jade was at the table making sure my guests put a picture in my book and wrote me a little note. They are a lovely team and worked hard at both events to provide an excellent product for our guests. Derek also does regular photography and video. I can only imagine how fabulous he is at that. I wish I had hired him to take photos at my party ‍ His prices were very competitive and I honestly feel he gives you the most for your money. I did call a couple other companies and they were both more expensive and not as responsive. So if you want a fun couple that will engage with your guests and make sure your event has a fun vibe, Derek is the guy for the job!!

How he got everyone to look good at the same time is pure magic. All of our family and guests raved about him -- he was everywhere, capturing everything we would want to remember. With his teammate Scott (the videographer), we had full coverage of our wedding day. They got there early for getting ready shots and created a quick bond with our wedding party. I feel like he really captured us well as a couple. He also did our engagement photos, which were amazing (of course!). We did two great locations with him and it was a great chance to get to know him before the big day. As a side note: his wife Jade Preciado was our wedding planner for the day, and those two make an amazing pair. It made it even more of an easy decision to have him photograph our rehearsal dinner, and he felt like more than just our photographer because of their bond.
