I didn't want to be silly about it though, so decided to take a trip to Discount Drug Stores. It's not particularly near me, but I'd dropped my partner off at work (I know, I'm a fantastic girlfriend) and this was between there and home. Plus there's a Woolworths Express (is that what they're called?) next door. Alright so, first off, it's bigger than it looks on the outside. So as I ventured toward the back of the TARDIS the lady at the counter asked me what I was after. She was nice, friendly, informative, and just the right amount of sympathy. I walked out with a 60 pack of Aspro Clear and some Betadine throat gargle for around $15. I was definitely happy with the whole experience. OH plus there's parking out front.

Bus stop is 20 metres, give or take, from the store front. You can catch outbound Routes 200, 204, 209 and 222 to get here by public transport. Parking onsite at rear off Waratah Avenue but back entrance closes at 6pm. A bit of a long wait at times if you just turn up during peak period (previously had to wait half an hour for a script). I now regularly order medication for family members on the MedAdvisor app and it notifies me when my script has been dispensed and is ready for collection, saves time and hassle, so no more waiting! :)

Lovely, big, clean pharmacy near the 24 hour Woolies near the airport…read more It's in a handy location due to the GP across the way, but the best thing is, just so quiet. I'm sure they must get busy at some point, but it's never too crazy out there, so no waiting to be served and the staff were all lovely. If you happen to be at the airport/Woolworths/DFO and in need of a chemist, pop on in.
