Rick even offered to meet me at the hospital to pick up my dogs when I had to urgently get to a major family emergency. He offered to keep them for as long as I needed too. I picked him up on September 5, put him in airline kennel for our late flight back home to Alberta. The next day I found three large bites on my dog. One on the centre of his back (2 x 2 inches). Two weeks later there is still a large scab on it. There are also two other large bites on his right side and leg. He is still recovering from these injuries and lowering his back slowly to his dog bed at home. Neither the incident or these injuries to my dog were mentioned to me when I came to pick him up. Due to his advanced age, I had specifically asked for him to be left alone and not socialized with other dogs when I dropped him off. I also reinforced this when I returned him to the kennel after walking him in the mornings. I have used a variety of kennel services for my pets before in several other locations- and have never returned to find my pets injured. The lack of communication is of great concern to me. At the very least a responsible facility and their staff would have addressed these issues with the pet owner. I could not trust this facility with any of my pets in the future. Unfortunately I read these other reviews after my dog's experience. If there was a method of posting pictures on this site, I would include photos of his injuries.
