This is a typical small town watering hole. I visited this place (last night) with some friends for…read morekaraoke. The karaoke was awesome, with a wide array of great music. The karaoke host really got involved with the crowd and kept everybody entertained. The atmosphere was peasant; everybody seemed to be having a great time. The service was unlike any I've experienced at a pub. Ever. The server working the floor was completely unorganized. When we got there, things weren't busy at all, but our server took forever to get my drink. We would watch her ask others for their order and bring them their drinks, while I waited and waited. Her excuse was that she kept forgetting. After things got busier and yet another long wait, we went up to the bar to see the other server. The server covering the floor told us to go back to our table as she would "be right with us". We watched her make small talk with people, serve people at the bar (although someone else was working the bar), then some hugs with a friend and more small talk. Then she went out to the floor, asked another table if they needed anything, brought their drinks, went back to the bar for change, came back out and cleaned some glasses, asked another table if they needed anything, brought their drinks, went back to the bar for change, then served others at the bar. 25 minutes had gone by so my friend went up to the bar for our drinks. After about a half hour, our server returned, at which time my friend was approaching with our drinks. Keep in mind, that's a half hour since she told us to go back to our seats; we were waiting quite a while before that! After such a hassle to get a drink, my beer was old and skunky. I informed our server and when I asked if she knew how old the beer was, she snapped at me, cut me off mid sentence and said she didn't know. I explained that I was only asking, so she offered me the option of another beer or something else. I asked for a Caesar. When she brought it to me, she repeated twice that there was no charge for my drink. Seriously? She served me a rotten beer that I couldn't drink and then told me there was no charge for a replacement? The Caesars were really good I asked if they served food and our server said "Not tonight, as the oil is too dirty, but you can have chips." My stomach still turns at the thought of that dirty oil. So to recap, typical local small town pub, great Karaoke, people were enjoying themselves, but getting service at the table was like pulling teeth. The server at the bar had things under control, but the floor server was completely unorganized. To make matters worse, they were also understaffed. I would go here again for the Karaoke and to hang out with friends, but my service expectations are very low. I suggest ordering freshly made drinks, common beers or what's on tap, and eat beforehand.

However, it was clean. Service for Good Friday was terrible. Simply not enough servers for the amount of people. It was slow the other time too, but not as bad as Good Friday. Service was okay once we were able to get someone. The kitchen was backed up as well, so it took a long time for our food to come out. Food was good. Although I found the batter this time to be too doughy, but pleasant enough. There also was a burger which was delicious. Fries were tasty and thick cut. Food was great, the fries here are amazing, crispy on the outside and tender and soft on the inside,,, never been frozen and fresh as can be!! The beef dip was very good, I had a tossed salad with it. I couldn't stop picking the fries of my friend's plate, they were so good!! He also enjoyed his burger and it did look very good!!! Beer on tap was nice and cold especially coming in from the heat outside!!
