I got the Lulu a Dore (Grilled calamari) which came out about 8 minutes after I ordered. In hindsight, I probably shouldn't have ordered this because my main course (Seafood risotto) was enormous. The prices are listed for 2 people but you can get individual portions. That being said, the individual portion would have been more than enough for 2 people. The seafood risotto itself was fantastic. I wouldn't really call it a risotto. More like a seafood with rice dish. The sauce was a tomato based broth which worked perfectly with the clams, mussels, squid and shrimp that were found in the dish. If I ever come back, I will most certainly stop by here again.

After more than half an hour waiting, they decided to finally serve us, and despite writing on their menu that they have English speaking service/menus, they almost laughed at us when asking for an English menu and even insinuated with disdain that the non-Brazilian guests should take that opportunity to " practice their Portuguese". Maybe that was a joke but the awful experience didn't end there. The over priced food and cocktails came all wrong and the Vegan mushroom risotto literally came with no mushroom, JUST RICE. My fish tasted like pure salt, the rice was cold and the "shrimp sauce " had merely 3 minuscule shrimps on it. When midnight was approaching and all the guests were already fed up with the awful service and food, we insinuated that we wanted to have our food to go, since it took them an hour to serve us. After that they literally mistreated us, giving us tasteless cold food with no sauce inside paper bags. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. They almost ruined our NYE experience, but thank god after we left, our night got MUCH MUCH better.

Towards the north end of the island, this restaurant is hidden from the outside by a white wooden fence and is only open for certain hours for lunch then dinner. We arrived right at 8 for dinner (opening time) and seated right away! The location is great as it's right on the sand with a view of the water and boats docked near by. Dim lighting and lit candles really set the tone here! We decided to start with a crispy, and thin sliced fish covered with an oriental sauce I wasn't familiar with. Perfect starter! For the main dishes, we ordered Bali, Surim, Thai Spaghetti, and Camarón fora de Morange. My dish was Surim and I have to say it was the crowd favorite. The dish consisted of shrimp, calamari, and octopus mixed in what seemed to be a very thin risotto. The sauce consisted of tomatoes, basil, coconut milk and more. I was amazed at how tasteful my dish was. Still dreaming about it... Highly recommended to all visiting the island!
