I come to Borough Market every Saturday just to buy my fresh fruits and vegetables from Chegworth Valley!
I couldn't speak more highly of this family-owned farm. Having had the opportunity to go to the farm in Kent, I can attest to the quality of the produce. I no longer eat apples and pears that come from anywhere but Chegworth farm and at £2.19/kg for different organic varieties they really are a bargain. Cox, Braeburn, Gala, Chegworth Beauty, Bramley, Comice, Conference, Russet... take your pick! The place is also overflowing with colorful vegetables, leafy greens, misshaped squash, potatoes just out of the ground. You'll find everything you need and more. There's homemade soups, compotes, chutneys, crumbles. And let us not forget their famous apple juices that are pressed directly on the farm.
Pop in on a Saturday for a freshly made smoothie. In the winter you can't miss the warm spiced apple juice. Definitely the best break from the hustle and bustle of Borough Market.
This place is my best kept secret. But it's so good it seems cruel to keep it to myself. So let's make this our best kept secret! read more
