The vegetable biryani came with a side of raita, and although the sag paneer didn't actually have real paneer (seems hard to come by in France), it was full of flavor. Some Indian food newbies happened to be dining at the same time as us, and the staff were very informative and patiently answered all their questions. They thoughtfully adjust the spice levels according to your preference, unlike many restaurants that serve their food with not a hint of heat. Easily one of my favorite Indian restaurants in France. Open every night of the week. Didn't care that one of us didn't order due to a special medical diet we brought along. Pleasant host/waitress/cook's wife (?). Even though we were the only ones in the place, all the dishes were fresh and hot, perfectly prepared. All dishes we ordered were winners, and none of my family had ever eaten Pakistani food, nor was this type of food on their menu. But it was Father's Day, my choice. Oh, the price. $$? Really? Although accurate, the meal was something I would have expected to pay much more for. Then you leave and step outside. That's when you realize that their overhead has got to be very low. But walk like you "own the place" and all is good, and you're full. Don't hesitate to order a couple extra naan breads. Don't ask me why. You'll know after the first bite. I say, we'd like this table, he looks at me like I'm crazy, as though at any minute now the place will be filled with people clamoring for his famous food. Says NO, somewhat emphatically. I say OK, bye!!. He clearly does not care, turns around and goes back to his pals and the big story. We simply go NEXT DOOR to the Thai restaurant where we had a lovely meal at any table we wanted and were treated like kings. Personally, that's how I prefer my chicken tikka masala. You can choose your spice level. I get it mild, hubby gets it medium spiced. The cheese naan is pretty thick, doughy, just came out of the oven when they serve it. Never dry! Better than at New Dehli's competitors. The other good dishes we love to have: - Onion Bhaji (starter) - Vegetarian Thali menu (mix of different dishes like chickpeas, dhal, aloo, etc) - Chicken Korma (super sweet as well, a bit more creamy!) - Chicken Tika (very moist) The pistachio kulfi for dessert is good. The staff is super mega friendly (we miss Obi!!) often welcoming you with a cocktail and giving you a end of the meal liquor. They speak English - the chef lived in the UK. Service is pretty fast. The decoration is traditional indian, there isn't much lighting which kinda bothers me, but the rest is excellent. Small size restaurant: I recommend booking if it's a weekend. During the week should be ok. You can also pick-up the food and you will get a discount. Lastly, they are like ALWAYS open (7 days), even on holidays!

The wait staff are excellent! They do speak English, but for the love of God try to use French. The interior wood work and furniture was imported from Pakistan and the huge central light coverings are killer! On weekends or special occasions, you will want to call for a reservation. Also, they close at 2:00 everyday after lunch. Don't think that you will get a seat if you come in at 1:50. This is FRANCE after all.
