We had a very disappointing experience with Montereau during an already stressful time…read more On March 23, 2026, my father was scheduled for transfer after being accepted for admission. Based on that commitment, we gave up a confirmed spot at another facility. One day I went to visit him and I heard him yelling "I need water!" over and over, he was so thirsty. He couldn't drink on his own either and they didn't care to help him. I was livid and met with the nursing director, she was like a stale loaf of bread, no apologies nothing changed. I had him moved to PAM but he had gone downhill so fast at Montereau that he passed away at PAM. We lost him last November. Sadly this all started from a fall and hip surgery otherwise he was a healthy 89
