I read great reviews on their famous ham jalapeno and cheese croissants plus donuts and cinnamon sugar croissants. I knew I had to swing by to snatch some of that goodness. Didn't want any FOMO in my system LOL. Got here around 9:00 AM. Shop is small with a few tables and chairs. Place was clean. Back area used for storage of inventory. Not too many customers at the time. I probably missed the morning rush. Btw, they only bake donuts once per day. When they run out, that's it! The young lady behind the counter was sweet and friendly. I think her Mom and Dad were in the back helping in the kitchen. Donut selection was pretty standard with raised and cake options. They didn't have a lot left so I just got what they had... alot of twists and rounds! My Order: 3 dozens donuts 1 dozen cinnamon sugar croissants 2 ham jalapeno and cheese croissants Here's my take on the baked goods... Their glazed twist was good, but needs a bit more glaze on top. Chocolate twist had the perfect amount of chocolate on top. Crumble cake donut was very moist and tasty. I preferred it over the crumble raised donut which is a surprise to me because I'm usually for the raised more so than the cake. The highlight was the cinnamon sugar croissants. They were SO GOOD! Light, crispy, and soft in every bite. Tasted like churros. The ladies were so generous to throw in a few cinnamon sugar croissants in each box on the house. Thank you so much for the extra sweet treat! Ham jalapeno and cheese croissants were huge. Cheesy inside with not so hot jalapenos plus delicious ham slices. Croissant was super light and flaky. I enjoyed it, but there was something slightly off with the taste. I can't pinpoint it. If you haven't given Munchkin's a try yet, now is the time to get you some tasty baked goods. We ordered, say down inside to watch the game (Fifa). Reached for my beer and it was stuck to the table. Haahaa!! WT??? My guy reached for his and same thing.. I took a sip and my beer was flat. My guy took my beer back up. The bartender re-poured the beer but it wasn't any better. My guy said his blood orange didn't even have orange, he said it was really bitter like they used the rind instead. We couldn't do it! We left our beers on the table and left. I asked my guy to tell the bartender but he didn't. So beerless, beers sucked this time. Hopefully the brewmaster gets it together.. what a waste of 2 $9. Beers.. The staff was very welcoming to me since I came in during lunch time and explained the combo plate options and costs. I ended up ordering the 2 item plate with Chicken Tikka Masala & chick pea curry with my choice of the garlic naan. Staff mentioned she was going to make a fresh batch so I waited inside the store. The food was ready in a few minutes and the aromas of the curries and garlic naan were radiating. It smelled so delicious. I ate my lunch there and it was very satisfying. The tasted very good and I cleaned that plate easily! The fresh garlic naan was simply the best to dip with the curries. I loved the crispy exterior and soft interior of the dough. I ended up just ordering one beer. The gentleman who told the cashier that he couldn't help me on the beer wasn't friendly. The signage on the pricing was a little confusing. I sampled the ube cereal malt and liked it. When I got the actual flight, it tasted different so I think the beer altered the taste. We mistakenly thought they served us the other ube coconut flavor. It turns out that the ube cereal malt has coconut as well. The ube flavor wasn't as strong as I'd have liked. My favorite flavor was definitely dulce flavor. Coffee was good and pistachio was ok.
