The nachos they serve here are a definite eyebrow raiser. These are neither Texas nachos nor Mexican nachos. They take flat circular tortilla chips out of the supermarket bag and layer them on a pizza board. They cover these with cheese so that the concoction melts into a pancake. There are chips ON TOP of the pancake, and jalapenos on top of that. The top chips char which is okay. Your nachos now have a top. The whole thing is served with a bowl of room temperature salsa out of the jar that you dump on top. Note that Norwegians make pancakes and they make very good pancakes. So turning nachos into a pancake is a natural for them. I prefer Tex-Mex nachos, but these were an interesting change of pace.
