not worth going to. another great bartender fired! he was the one that brought in business. highly do not recommend...stay away

HORRIBLE PLACE. Do not waste your time going here. Bartenders are rude, favor regulars and will ignore you if you play video poker. I have been here a handful of times, but tonight will be my last. My peaceful and relaxing evening after work was ruined by an unidentifiable, aggressive "security guard." An African American guy dressed in all black with dreadlocks--wearing zero security began to harass me and speak to me in a completely rude tone and manner. This isn't the first time either. As I was parking he came over to me and rudely commented about how I parked incorrectly in the unstriped lot facing the wrong way. So I went and moved my car. Then later after I left the bar he began power-tripping while I spent 5 minutes wiping ash off my Lyft car before close. He then approached me and put his face near my window to start ranting and-said I cannot detail my car in the parking lot while 3 other people are smoking cigarettes right next to me. This was just after he was telling me how nice of a car I had and how nice I keep it. Meanwhile, he parked his own car illegally right next to the building. A couple nights after this I went outside to smoke my vape and just had a feeling he would approach me, I was correct! He asked me what I was doing? And asked me if I was coming back inside? I told him I was taking a smoke break and will be coming back inside thanks. 2 mins later he came back outside and asked me if I was waiting for a ride ? And said If I wasn't that I couldn't be outside smoking... (where everyone is smoking) so I chuckled and proceeded to walk over to my vehicle to remove my self before going off on him. I called my GF to tell her to fire up the Air Fryer to get dinner ready. He then approaches me again while I'm on my phone and has the audacity to tell me that if I'm not playing poker, drinking or actively in the bar he is going to have to ask me to leave. I told him I was on the phone and am coming back in. That's when I finally had enough of his harassment and I let him know it! I'm sure I'm not the only one who has exchanged words with this uneducated individual. All I have to say is I hope the owners see this post. I recommend you hire professional security who actually wears identifying uniforms and knows how to treat paying customers. read more

This place is a Crackhead Villa! Straight off of 82nd and Flavel not worth it. Trying to get out of traffic, decided to stop here. The bartenders ( older lady in picture ) No minority Bartenders are rude, temperamental, and I've over heard them saying racist comments. If you're not a regular, they will charge you more even during HAPPY HOUR. CASH ONLY. Which says all you need to know. Key to bathroom, NEVER CLEAN! I saw a roach while inside. Immediately had to leave. They need to close 2025 NOT worth it. read more

Seriously the BEST service I have ever experienced in a bar in any 8 states ive lived in and 26 states ive been to. The space is so cozy and inviting, drinks are strong and very fair priced. The bartender Nick was so sweet and welcoming! My girlfriend and I just moved to this area and as a lesbian couple we have experienced some ... interesting... places and interactions in the clackamas area, seems to be more red than other parts of the portland metro, but this place is probably the best spot you can be as a member of the queer community. The outdoor patio is GORGEOUS, and the lighting inside is beautiful. Genuinely one of the best bar experiences I have had! This has always been known as the sketchiest bar in the area, which says a lot. That's why we've never made a habit of coming here even though it's close. The clientele is sus at best most of the time, which is why you need a key for the bathroom. They tried to do some upgrades but they don't look great and are mostly useless. They only take cash which is another suspicious behavior not typical of a business that wants you to spend money. They finally got this cute little dessert shot sampler that obviously won't get you a buzz but does taste delicious. It's not a great place but finally the owner was so rude that everyone agrees never to return. It's dirty anyway and I can count the number of times I've been her eon my hands in over a decade. Have met here with the Crawlers group and always had a good experience. Food is exceptionally good especially the special of the day. Wait staff and bartenders are friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking. Just make sure you lock your car. It's a cash bar so be prepared for that. read more

The now call it the New Checkered Flag, adding an outdoor patio (right on beautiful SE 82nd!), and who knows what other upgrades. Have lived in this neighborhood 40 years and never been in since today. Don't do dive bars, but these days in PDX a dive bar will have several taps. And like my other neighborhood dive, Lion's Eye, 15 blocks north, pints are just $5 (4 during happy hour!) Place has a low ceiling and a cozy feel like basement rumpus room. A few lottery machines, pool table, couple screens. Friendly service. read more

Making my way on foot up 82nd Ave on a rainy night, I'd been in Tired Feat and Winnie's Lounge and the bartenders at both of these places were super nice and welcoming. I made it about a foot inside the door here and the bartender shouts "no backpacks!". Uh, excuse me but it's a messenger bag and I'm not some 82nd Ave drug creeper. Get your vision checked. Anyways, I've been in here before. Stop trying to be a fancy place. You're on 82nd Ave. Just be a shit dive bar with a sketchy parking lot. Angela, the am bartender, really needs to educate herself on ADA LAWS regarding service animals. She kicked myself, a disabled person, and my service dog out, told me my "only option" was to sit in the cold pouring rain on the UNCOVERED patio. I was in there to kill time as I was getting an alignment across the street at Les Schwab. She wasn't wearing a mask after unlocking the door for business (which is also the LAW). I wasn't there to drink at 10am, Rather play Oregon Lottery. (Although I was planning on buying a Red Bull or 2). There was ONE person who actually liked my dog at the bar buying a screwdriver and a coffee. I guess "still Angela" as she calls herself doesn't like making herself or the bar money. I'm sure she's jaded from the riff raff from 82nd, but I'm not it. I will make sure Oregon Lottery hears of this incident as well as the ADA. Learn your Laws. read more
