While the store is small, there is still a wide selection of liquors available. Carol is super knowledgeable and friendly, and it is very clear that she has cultivated a nice regular clientele. A plus is that the store's resident grey kitty cat is super friendly. I also love the fun things to look at that are decorating the whole store. I find the prices here to be very reasonable and the hours are fairly expansive. Stop in and shop!

First, the wine was delicious. Everything we tried was good to me but you could only pick 5 wines for everyone to try as opposed to picking individually based on what the persons preference is. The room was spacious but it was extremely hot (unusually in September) and the employee could not get the speaker to work so we couldn't play music. Overall we still had a great time and I think at only $20 per person it was still a fair price point. They even had a cute patio upstairs. I would love to go back and do my own tasting with other wines!

Holy cow, why haven't I come here sooner? Located not far from Spraguebrook park, take a little day…read moretrip and get yaaself a great beer as a reward. We talked with Reanna and Michael about how they started their venture. Really nice couple and really nice business. It is worth the trip. There's a ton of comfortable seating whether you sit inside in front of the taps, in front of the window, at the comfy chairs, over in the book nook or outside, there's a great place to kick back and relax. I haven't even got to the beer yet. For a relatively new place (opened in September) they have their shit together. We tried the black IPA and the Citrice IPA. The Witches at black Masses was smoky and full of flavor. The Citrice was crisp and everything you'd like in an IPA. Amarillo hops are one of my favorite, and this beer didn't disappoint. For breweries I'd have to say the eclectic nature of this place, the beautiful countryside and the charisma of the owners make it a standout establishment. Besides the fact that they have a great selection of all kinds of beer. I even tried the Heffy and I liked that as well. Take a drive and make this a tasty rest stop. You won't be sorry...and don't forget to give Mabel a pat on the head.

A small town winery with 2 locations (one in Barker and one in Chaffee, NY). I received a $25 gift…read morecertificate at a basket raffle, so I decided to make the drive out to Chaffee to sample some wines and buy a couple bottles . A tasting of 7 wines (or one of their own ciders ) is $7 , so I opted to do that . Sadly these were served in plastic cups , that is easy cleanup, but takes away from the whole experience, IMO . I liked all of them to a degree, but my favorites were the sparking wine and the cherry wine . I ended up only paying about $15 after the certificate for 2 bottles and the tasting - prices are fair . Grounds are cute as well , they do have events from time to time . Not very busy at noon on a Saturday - but staff was nice and eager to help me . Not a winery that blew me away , but I had a good experience there and would return .

It's a nice little drive so be prepared! I like that Savage offers guest wines and ciders in their tastings. You can do beer tastings too as they have a nice array of taps available. The vibe is small town friendly. All current protocols are being followed. There is an area of outside seating if preferred and weather permitting. Everyone we encountered had a smile on-through masks of course. It seemed like the local growler fill hub on this Saturday afternoon. The sad thing this time, only chickens were out. No goats or alpacas. We were left questioning a design on a wine glass... owl, cat or devil?
