The lady at the cashier was just very curt, no smiles, and the other lady looked so incredibly miserable, I felt bad for her. Another lady was sitting on a barstool, barking out orders. The vibe and feel have drastically changed. I'm unsure what happened in the last few months, but something has. It's not just the fun, welcoming vibe; the inventory is very dated. Not the quality it was. I wanted to chalk it up to a bad day for them and returned a few days later--same thing. The service was horrible--the same barking lady was on a bar stool. With so many options nearby with stand out service, I will spend my money there.

A greeter did greet us on the way in, told us the layout of the store since we never been here before, and let us look around. The prices were the best I have found for Talavera Pottery and the metal artwork is top notch. The unique and hard to find nautical items I look for are everywhere in the shop. I have several pieces of the antique furniture in my home that were restored by the owner and other artisans from the area. If you're looking for great quality items at a very fair price, Artisan's Gallery is a place you need to Include on your list here at the Beach. The owner, Phillip, goes out of his way to serve his customers and even keeps a book of what you are looking for. When he finds it, he'll call you and even deliver larger pieces. Yes, it is a warehouse (NOT a showroom) and you do need to look at the furniture in person to determine if it will work for you. It worked great for us! The guys even had tie downs for purchase (and allowed refund upon return) and helped us load the furniture on the roof rack! Since the showroom is very large, we decided to walk around to see what else we might find as we were looking to update a few things. We came across some amazing table lamps that include a phone charger in the base as well as an electrical outlet, and we ended up purchasing them. On another walk through the showroom, we found a dining room table and chairs. We had been discussing replacing our existing table, which was too large for the room, and this set was absolutely perfect. The table and chairs were delivered the very next day.
