I show up hand them my insurance card of sorry we can't take this you need a new dentist.. I was like wait I was told I was good sorry not this plan.. Whie there I told them my son who has his own insurance moved to Texas.. Well once again they tried to milk the last ounce of money, now back to my wifes current appointment YOU NEED TO PAY THIS, my wife states that I (husband) took care of this.. response was MAAM IF YOU WANT TO BE SEEN YOUR GONNA PAY!! SO she cancels her appointment after being talked down to for minutes,, on the way out the girl states now you owe 150$$ I called up there and tried to remind someone that this had been taken care of after being on hold for 10 mins... A new person comes on and 1st thing out of her mouth was a laugh(snort) rudest person you could speak to like I am child says DONT CARE ITS YOUR FAULT HER FAULT BLAHH BLAHH YOU WILL PAY US AND WE DONT CARE IF YOU ARE HAPPY WE ARE IN THIS TO MAKE MONEY WE DONT LIKE TO WAVE FEESS OR FREE MONEY

What were we doing for 2 years? Well, let me preface this by saying that I have a very stressful job/life which manifests itself in me grinding my teeth to nubs. (When my bottom teeth were done and placed in my mouth I complained to Dr. Current saying that I had horse teeth. He then explained that my bottom teeth were the perfect size and I had ground nubs for so long I had no idea what a tooth should look like) Since I was not going to stop grinding, Dr. Current was tasked with putting teeth in my mouth that (1) did not come out of my mouth and put in a glass every night. I am too vain for that. (2) making teeth for the implants Dr. Nasson put in (another review) that would withstand the force of my grind and (3) make sure they didn't fall out. Yes, I cannot tell you how many times I have spit my teeth into my hands. I acknowledge that I was not always the most pleasant human being to work with and I was stubborn about what I wanted. I learned the difference between "want" and "need". Dr. Current did not want me to need him as much as I would have had I not listened to him. He also refused to do that which would not work just because I said so. He won and I have teeth that do not fall out; are the right size and work. I can actually chew. I had just gotten them all in and went on a cruise. First meal I picked up the crustiest bread you ever saw and found that I was afraid to bite into it. I texted Dr. Current and told him about my fear that they would break. He laughed and said "Please take them out for a spin. Chew! I did and have been chewing every since. I could write for days about this journey. I would post a picture so you could see my teeth but the reality is I do not know how to smile with my teeth showing. I was always self conscious about them. When I try to smile to show off my teeth, I look a tad deranged and possibly feral. I cannot say enough great things about this clinic. I had not visited a dentist in, well, WAY too…read morelong, and so I was looking at two fillings, a crown and a DEEP cleaning on all the choppers. I was actually taken in early for my appointment, and the hygienist got to work immediately numbing me and getting set up for the cleaning. I won't go into the gory details, but when Dr. Benning got to work on the fillings and crown, he and his assistant worked like a well-oiled machine. There was no wasted time, and not once did I see anything that looked even remotely like miscommunication between the two. This morning, after all that work, I have no pain whatsoever. Amazing. Oh, and while I have dental insurance, the work involved was a bit more than it would cover. Hello, interest-free payments!

I found the office very neat and clean and everyone was extremely friendly. I've been to some bad dental offices in the past that left a bad taste in my mouth, but I didn't get any bad or condescending vibes from the staff here. Once again, a super nice and friendly staff with great communication skills. They actually had a dental assistant who was very friendly and introduced me to each person as care was being given. That was actually a very nice touch and I felt very appreciated. They also had someone from billing sit down and explain to me what my insurance covered and talk about payment plans. If you're unsure about where to get dental care or haven't been in awhile, I imagine this would be a pretty good place to start.

While on the phone with insurance, the insurance carrier said he would talk to them to verify insurance, but they didn't want to talk to them. I have been going here for years but have finally decided to look elsewhere. My biggest complaint…read moreis their scheduling. They don't do anything on Fridays. They won't do anything later in the day. They seem to be more concerned with keeping things convenient for the doctors than for their clients, expecting clients to accommodate THEIR schedules rather than vice versa. When I needed an extraction and requested an appointment either early in the morning or later in the afternoon so that I could still get in at least half a day of work, the wait time drastically changed from 1-2 days to 2 MONTHS out. When I asked for a different time I was given an attitude that is uncalled for "WELL you want it done asap DONT YOU??" Also, it's extremely rude and disrespectful when you are getting your cleaning to have to listen to the doctor recall all the finer points of his Hampton vacation to his hygienist- who could care less but nonetheless nods and smiles at everything the doctor says. They've gotten too big for their britches over the years and have completely lost touch with what gives them the ability to vacay in luxury and take Fridays off- THEIR CLIENTS.
