I've met the owner and I love her, shes this person whom loves books and the people like her, and shes funny too. I wanted something different and they guys gave me 5 options and asked me a ton of questions. That's called getting to know your customer and them knowing you. I return to places like this. Actiontoyman is a special kind of place. I spent two months working one day a week in Erie and was…read morelucky enough to discover this store during that time. This store is absolutely stacked with vintage collectibles ranging from Gundam Wing, Star Wars, Transformers, Toy Story, WWE, Dragonball Z, Sports Collectibles, Batman, Superman, and everything in between. The ground level is full of classic toys and even features a full blown comic room in the back while downstairs is the "discount" section offering a ton of toys below $8. Upstairs had a full game room along with a ton of other collectible toys as well. Not only was it a blast coming to ActionToyMan but the staff was super friendly and willing to answer any questions that I had throughout my visit. Although my trips to Erie might be done, I will 100% be returning in the future to check this store out again. He called 3 weeks in a row to ask the owner to gather his unsold things. The first week the owner "wasn't there", the second week "he was out sick", and the third week my husband said he was coming to get his collectibles. Today he went to the store, the owner accused him of harassment, said my husband called his store "$hitty"(he did not), and then told him that he had already sold and paid my husband for his missing collectibles (he couldn't produce any proof that he had paid my husband for anything) Do not take your collectables here to sell. The guy is a liar. And I read through the other reviews and alot of people think he's rude too.

But I really did want this, as they are fairly rare to come across in person. I would have been willing to pay $50 a box, but the employee told me there was absolutely no wiggle room. When I told him the value of these is always less than $40, i was told that "Yeah but when they came out they were going for more" Product will always go up and down, these guys have no problem when it goes up. But if it goes down, they wont change their sticker price and are unwilling to accommodate. They would rather (maybe eventually) scam their own customers.

The shop is clean and well organized so it is easy to find what you are looking for. The Selection They carry all the new pulls each week. I have never had a problem getting the new stuff when it comes out. They also have a large selection of hardcovers is that's what your looking for.
