Apparently, accountability costs extra, too. I was quoted 1-2 hrs to get this job done. He sent an apprentice who clocked up 4hrs. This kid simply didn't know his stuff, and then threw his tools down and announced that he didn't like the conversation we were having at the breakfast table ( about drugs and children), and if we continued, he was going to stop work and walk out. Nice. My birthday snow weekend was ruined due to constantly waiting around for these guys.. Buyer beware - This crew is always pushing to reschedule to weekend rates so they can charge $75/hr + they take longer than quoted. Two separate real estate agents confirmed they are well known for doing this. If you're looking for reliability, professionalism, or basic courtesy, look elsewhere.....

From start to finish, Ryan provided excellent service. He communicated clearly by email and phone letting me know when he was performing the inspection. He showed up on time despite an incoming storm. He provided a digital copy of the full report, complete with photos and clear indications of what repairs were recommended. He went over the report with my real estate agent and I over the phone, and we were all able to reference the digital copy of the report. At my request, he kindly shared recommendations for local contractors, plumbers, electricians to complete any needed repairs. I highly recommend Eastern Sierra and Ryan! But it was also creating a lot of noise with a wonky fan and loose part. They fixed those issues, made the stove spotless and also touched up the paint on the stove pipe. When I returned later the small living space was spotless and the pellet stove is so quiet! Also, when I need a new pallet of pellets, they will drive them over and drop them off at my place. In November (three months later), I emailed them to ask if they could clean my wood burning stove in December, which would be 4 months. They requested a photo of my roof which I sent in an attachment. I was told they could clean it and they'd get back with me. Well, winter ends next week and I never heard back from them. I emailed them twice during the winter and was never given the courtesy of a response. I finally got someone from Bishop to service my unit - he responded in 2 hours,and came the next day. Sorry, but treating a customer in such a way is absolutely inexcusable.
