We stayed in the area for a few days. Looked for a nice chateau not too far away and found this lovely place.
It was a great choice for a visit on that hot summer day. It's privately owned and there are tours available. But we just came for the park and gardens and also had our Bulldog with. And dogs are indeed allowed outside on the grounds.
It's a lovely garden and park. Lots of wonderful lavender. Some benches under the trees providing shade for a quick rest or a picnic.
There are also some trails leading into the woods if you feel like a small walk. We did. A nice thing to do.
It is really a nice chateau. And the grounds are lovely. And there is not even an entrance fee for the park. It is suprising that this place doesn't have more visitors. There was only one other group around. And they left after a few minutes.
We did love it though. Surely a great place to spend some time. The chateau also has its own vineyard. Didn't have time for that this time. Maybe next time. read more
