My husband called a bunch of lawyers and set up meetings all over town. Everyone wanted to take my case, but we went with Brian and his team because, right from the beginning, I could tell they were professional, kind, and genuinely felt bad for what had happened to me--ruining my face and causing a traumatic brain injury due to the city's negligence. A couple of months ago, we started preparing for trial, and the level of attention to detail from Brian and his team was incredible. We were in constant communication, and I always felt comfortable asking any questions. I had a wonderful meeting with Jon and Annie that made me feel completely ready for trial. Thankfully, we didn't even have to go to court, as the city offered a settlement. I fully trusted Brian's advice to settle, and I'm so glad I did. It's rare to find people who are so hardworking, compassionate, and truly eager to fight for you. Every single person on that team is incredible--I would be ready to go to trial with any of them. Thank you Brian, Jon, Annie, Mark, Tatiana for all your work during these 3 years!

I never thought I'd need a personal injury lawyer until a massive tree limb fell on me in a city…read morepark, knocking me unconscious and leaving me with a traumatic brain injury, herniated disc, torn meniscus, and other trauma. From day one, Brian Breiter and Jeff Twomey saw me as more than a case. They understood how the city's failure to maintain its trees had upended my life, and they treated me with both compassion and determination. Their investigation was meticulous. They brought in arborists, analyzing weather data, and uncovering damning maintenance records. Despite the city offering nothing in mediation and insisting they'd win at trial, Brian and Jeff never backed down. They kept me informed every step of the way and made sure the full impact of my injuries--including cognitive challenges affecting my work and family--was accounted for. The unanimous jury verdict far exceeded my expectations and will help secure my future recovery as well as my family's future. Just as importantly, I believe their work will drive change in how the city maintains its parks. If you've suffered an injury that never should have happened, you want Breiter Law in your corner. They know how to take on giants and win.

The reason I was seeking legal counsel is because my insurance let me down and treated me horribly and I was looking to recoup what I had lost. Koppelman Law Firm reached out to me and I did speak to Mr. Koppelman and he guaranteed that he could get me something I felt pretty confident about it so I ended up signing with them. Everything seemed to be going well and I had clear communication with a lady named Jasmine, once they got all the medical documents I then started speaking to someone named Fernando who asked me questions in regards to if I was still seeking medical treatment, which I wasn't, I couldn't afford to. I would say roughly about a month or so ago I got a call from Fernando and again asking me about medical treatments, which again I couldn't continue to afford when he hung up with me his tone changed and he said Mr. Koppelman would reach out to me that day, a call I never received. I got a bad feeling but waited to get called, never got called.
