Great food, great atmosphere. The server did not seem to want to have much interaction with us.

A solid spot if you're looking for Japanese food. We walked in without reservation for a late lunch…read moreand found it wasn't busy. The weather was nice, so we sat in their covered patio area. You can scan the QR code to pull up the menu. It was in both Spanish and English. The menu was extensive, a little something for everyone. There was ramen, rice bowl, udon, sushi, sashimi, shabu, maki, nigiri, etc.   I tried the maguro mix don that had chu-toro, o-toro, and akami on top of white rice. This was a perfectly balanced meal. A good fatty texture on the sashimi. Rice to fish ratio was also good. It was refreshing from all the food we've been eating in CDMX. We all enjoyed our don and ramen.   Service was a bit slow regarding when our food came out but they brought out everyone's food at the same time. The restroom was clean as well. The indoor seating looks spacious. Overall, we enjoyed our meal here and would recommend this spot if you're looking for Japanese food in the Roma Norte area.

The mocktails were delicious, and every dish we ordered was outstanding--from the miso soup and kampachi and crab hand rolls to the taquitos and the Riyoshi Roll. We finished with a surprise chocolate cake to celebrate my daughter's birthday, which was a perfect ending to the meal. Service was friendly and attentive, by far one of our best restaurant experiences in a long time. We'll definitely return the next time we're in Mexico City!

The tuna sashimi was outstanding. Thick immaculate cuts with freshness and flavor. The nigiri was impressive, with perfectly seasoned rice and beautifully sliced fish. The shrimp salad added a lighter refreshing contrast that was thoughtfully composed. Dessert was the perfect finale: soft, delicate mochi ice cream. This cleansed the palate without overwhelming it. From presentation to flavor, everything felt intentional and refined. Ryoshi is a mist-visit for anyone who appreciates high-quality Japanese cuisine in Mexico City, especially in Polanco, where expectations are high and Ryoshi clearly rises to meet them.

OVERPRICED & MEDIOCRE! I visited the location on Michoacán…read more(which doesn't come up on Yelp) and received the slooowwwest service despite being literally the only customer in the place. There was a waitress and 2 sushi chefs, and the plates each came out one at a time, with a full 10 minutes between each one. (Admittedly, there were lots of Uber Eats to go orders) The food itself was pretty unremarkable - the fish tasted like cheap frozen fare and the hand roll fell apart before it even reached my table (see photo). It was just ok. I was shocked when I got the bill at how expensive it was for such bad food. I wouldn't bother coming back.

The people I was with wanted to go, so I did. I went through the menu and noticed a trend. Most of the rolls were the same with a small variation in each. Also, most of these rolls didn't contain actual raw fish, which I guess is good for me, due to my earlier freshness comment. I ended up picking a number, I believe it was 12 and a giant roll came out. The flavor was ok, and it was enough food to make me full, but I think I'll be willing to pay more and find a good sushi restaurant the next time.

We decided to go for it. We took a few seats at the bar. Sort of like a sushi bar vibe which was fine. We ordered miso soup, edamame, Tonkatsu ramen, gyudon and curry udon. I also got a single piece of fatty tuna or otoro. The ramen was tasty and the noodles were a bit firm which was good as I didn't have to rush to finish them before they went soggy. The pork Chashu was very pleasantly smoky and the egg was perfect. My son had the curry udon and the curry broth was beefy and flavorful with nice chunks of beef , the noodle had good springy texture. My wife's gyudon was very good as well and we took notice that the rice was short grain and authentically Japanese. I enjoyed the zesty pickled ginger that came with it too. Very good. Edamame we're just fine as well. Unfortunately, they forgot our miso soup but didn't forget to put it on the bill. We waited ten minutes after asking for the check and another ten waiting for them to correct the bill. Too long.. I also asked for a box to go but there was a misunderstanding and they tried to bring me saké. I think the music was simply too loud so "caja" (box) sounded like "sake" with the blaring music overhead. Just a bit frustrating. Overall, really quite good but the lax service and several mistakes prevent me from giving a higher rating. Really about 3.5 stars. I'd suggest turning the music down just a bit and reading/expediting orders more carefully. And when someone requests the bill don't leave them waiting for ten+ minutes. Also, there's no menu pics at the moment on Yelp but there is an extensive menu. If you're craving ramen or Japanese food in CDMX I'd recommend this place. Thanks! Domo Arigato Gozaimasu!
