Went in to exchange ripped dollar bills for new cash. The guy at the front was really nice. The…read morelady in the back handed me tape rudely saying well tape it. I was the only one there in that moment. She was questioning me with no friendliness about it which is whatever, im happy to share my story! But that was it. Two other guest appeared and I guess she was getting frustrated about me being there and I can feel it and tell by her tone, she then told me she cannot give me cash because I am not member of chase. I've had chase for 12 years and always brought coins to other locations with no problem. But I no longer work with them which online says any bank should exchange it. I said thank you but felt like they looked down on me for just being there doing that. I left to another bank that was full of smiles and laughter that were shared, they simply took the taped cash and gave me new ones without having to prove myself or questions at all. And I left under 2 minutes. This is how I understood that, that experience at chase was rude.

I guess banks are becoming like McDonald's and wanting us to do all the work. The crazy part is I bank at another bank as well two down from this location. They say hello Mrs... , offer me a water. Never have to wait. When at WF they tell me to go to the app to schedule an appt when they have bankers walking around. So I had the teller put me on the wait list. And we waited. And waited. As someone who does tech for a living, it would be nice to have costumer service in places that manage MY assets. And if what I needed was available to do online, I would have done it.

This bank is terrible. I bring deposits to this bank and it's usually several at a time. I wait in…read moreline like everyone else and when it's my turn I hand the deposits off to whichever teller is available at the time. They start working on my deposit and then if people come in with deposits they push my work to the side and deal with everyone else before getting back to my deposits. Because of this I am usually inside the bank for 45 minutes to 1 hour when it should take less than 15 minutes to get the deposits done. The personnel are nice but their management of work is terrible. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

Opened an account and was told the debit cards would be sent to us in 7-10 days. After 2 weeks (and…read moreasking at the branch during this time) we were told the debit cards were not ordered. So we finally got these at the branch. Then I deposited 2 TWC checks. One had a small portion of the funds released for use while the rest has been held for over 10 days now. The 2nd check has had all funds held. I have called to ask when these funds will be released so I can pay my bills but continue to get the runaround. I am constantly told that they will check and call me back but that never happens. I need my money - no reason to hold these checks for that long especially since they are not personal checks and from TWC. And the inconsistency of what they are holding/not holding is ridiculous. I would not recommend them.

Well today is 12/6/19 and the money orders still have not arrived at their destination which was just across town. I called my bank this bank and wanted to know if they had been cashed. No, the money orders were not cashed, so I then ask them to stop payment on them and re-issue me new money orders so that I can pay my rent and avoid any more late fees...I spoke to a rep and a sorry manager who both were no help at all. They both stated that if they stopped payment on these money orders today that the bank would not re-issue the money orders to me for 90 days.!? Wtf?????? so fyi..do not ever ever ever purchase money orders from woodforest unless you are hand delivering them to their destination because if the post office takes a long time to deliver them, there is nothing Woodforest National bank can do to stop payment and make you whole again...and they keep referencing some "uniform code" blah blah blah blah blah....I am fed up with this bank and I have been a customer for years...I will be closing my account here at Woodforest National bank very soon due to this and going to Chase Bank. Good rittens... This is not how you treat a valued customer who usually asks nothing of you, but the 1 time, I need a little understanding and they say no we can't help you. Upon entering, you get the feeling that nothing is urgent here. The employees are sitting and they are just "chill." We ended up waiting a loooong time with no one ahead of us to get seen. The we'll be right with you -- then not getting right with you was a little frustrating. It seems like they aren't able to compete with the big banks. We went over to a different bank and were in and out in a shorter amount of time than it took to even get seen here. Would recommend shopping around....
