There for me, when I needed them!…read more It is an awful feeling when your bank account is dwindling and you are not the one doing it. On a Saturday, one day before leaving on an extended trip I logged into my bank account and noticed multiple pending transaction that I did not make. I called the Bank of Sun Prairie and even though it was on a weekend I got to talk to a live person. Hector was very helpful, he was able to determine how the charges were being made and after a while of investigating he recommended we close the account immediately. He said he would do everything possible to ensure the false charges did not clear my account and there was a chance they would be able to transfer all my bill pay information to a new account. This was a stressful situation for me and Hector was very patient, understanding and made me feel confident that I was in good hands. In a couple days I was contacted by Pam from the Bank of Sun Prairie, she understood we were traveling and assured me they were working to protect our account as well as establishing a new account for us. A couple times it was late evening when Pam was texting with me to verify information. Pam managed to set up a new account, transferred all bill pay info and even held the old account open for deposits. Everything was accomplished in a timely manner and all done electronically which was a great benefit to me. The customer service from these two people and the Bank of Sun Prairie was far above and beyond what I expected. They made an awful situation, painless. Regardless of where you bank, it is not a matter of if you become a victim of fraud, but when. I highly recommend the Bank of Sun Prairie for all your banking needs. I, for one, will be a customer for life.

It was a savings account that they don't have to maintain, your money just sits there. But not here. I left it there so I could do some business without having to go to where the bulk of our money is. Apparently if you are inactive even on a simple savings account, they will take your money without a so much as "here's a check in the mail" or a "come get your money out". The Bank of Sun Prairie will take every penny. I'm thankful the rest of my money is in a Credit Union where they care about you and your money. I only give it two stars because front line staff is very nice.

My debit card and PIN came in the mail a lot faster than I had expected so that's a plus! They don't have suckers but they have tootsie rolls for the kiddies which is always a win for the kids. I had absolutely no issues opening up an account here and am happy with their services. There is no charge in opening an account and a minimum of $25 for deposit to open an account. I just thought it was weird that I wasn't able to put a bigger deposit down to open the account. Apparently the max amount was about $50 when you are opening an account online. Anyway, everything was pretty simple and they have a mobile banking app as well which is awesome for those of us who would rather do online banking or mobile banking than to actually physically go to the bank to make deposits. This is a very nice and convenient location as it is close to my home and very easy to find on GPS if you are not familiar with the area or its location. They don't pressure you into opening several accounts with them so that's always a plus. So far it's going well with US Bank and I would highly recommend!

Monona State Bank has excellent customer service; they go above and beyond!…read more I opened a checking account with MSB back in high school and have been so satisfied with them that I've brought all of my banking needs there. I've had/have a checking account, savings account, mortgage, line of credit, credit card and an IRA through Monona State Bank. They are so versatile and cater to my every need. They make every process seamless (especially with on line banking) and most importantly, they keep me up-to-date every step of the way. My personal banker, Lisa, is always there when I need her and goes out of her way to make sure she has picked up any balls that I have dropped (and I drop my fair share!). She's also the first to say hi when I walk in the door, and makes me feel welcomed! It's nice to have the 'small town' feel, where everyone knows you when you walk in and welcomes you to the family. My mortgage lender, Micha, is the best! She helps me focus on the bigger picture and keeps my best interests in mind when researching payment options, re-financing, escrow, etc. She's extremely knowledgeable and is ahead of the game; I trust every piece of advice she gives. Micha came with me to the closing when I bought my first home - I was nervous and scared out of my mind and didn't know what any of the papers meant but Micha stepped me through them one by one and explained everything until I understood and felt comfortable with everything. I owe many thanks to Micha for helping me through that process. I met with a business loan officer, Ted, a few times to talk about business opportunities and what the markets are like - Ted was very professional and knowledgeable. He was able to bring things to my attention that I would have never thought of, and was able to lay out a plan of the next steps to take. Someone who goes the extra mile to make sure you're headed in the right direction and is looking out for you during the process is so valuable. I can't say enough positive things about Monona State Bank, they are the epitome of what a bank should be. I'll be a customer for life!
