I love going to this chase location! They have a security guard that sits out front of the bank that always greets me, and opens the door when needed!! As soon as you walk into the branch, you get a nice greeting!! Not all branches do that! They make your banking experience pleasant!! I always get a have a great day after my transaction! They deserve a 10++++ read more

This has got to be the worst chase bank I've ever been to. They have two drive-through's, but there were two people in line at each. It took me over 10 minutes just to get cash out. I definitely won't be returning to this location. read more

I'm satisfied with Chase in general, but I try to avoid this branch. Poor location and poor customer service. Just go to Bonita or Rancho San Diego instead. read more

For an unsavory part of town that I outgrew and ran away from... this bank was surprisingly outstanding in the way they dealt with my family following the passing of my father. Let me tell you that I hate this neighborhood and all the depressing, littered up, tagged up, and unsafe dump holes that surround it. I wasn't thrilled that my mom wanted to go here because I was opting for somewhere in Northern San Diego or at least the Bonita locations because I was worried about how our transactions would be handled. Why? Because I grew up here and I made it a point to flee. However, I want to recognize Ricardo Gutierrez as our associate banker. He was very patient and gentle with our situation and I appreciate his tactful approach in dealing with my feisty, elderly mom who is not contemporary with modern banking. She rolled up in there with at least a dozen envelopes full of gifted cash that she had him deposit into her joint account with my dad on top of other things that could have been managed outside the bank. But that's the thing about the elderly, my mom is stubborn and easily confused so she needs someone to be face to face with her on these needs. Ricardo remained courteous and open the entire time with her and he outlasted my patience for my mom. We ate up a lot of his time too and he didn't mind. You might need pepper spray getting in and out of the parking lot but at least this bank will take care of you. This place isn't easy. While we were there, I overheard some angry guy yelling at a teller because of some stupid misunderstanding about money he needed for a haircut. He overdrew his account and couldn't figure out left from right. Judging from some of the low rated reviews, it's... a complicated pool for gauging whether this bank provides good service but I highly recommend Ricardo because he made this hood hole peaceful for us! read more

I have this Chase branch as my local bank , but they are terrible when it comes to answering phone calls. I needed to open an online account while out of town that required their managers assistance .I called over 25 times throughout the day, with no answer. Finally called the Bonita branch which answered on the first call. Problem solved immediately. I opened the account at the Bonita branch. Please note that I have never had a problem with Tellers at the SV branch , they have always been great. Just dont bother trying to reach anyone over the phone. read more

I don't usually do out of my way to write comments, but I have to say that every time I have walked into this bank, I have been utterly impressed with the staff (tellers, security, concierge and consultants.) Each one has been kind, patient and thorough... even when I brought an elderly friend in who took up a lot of time and asked a lot of questions. It's in a tough neighborhood, so their customer service is even more impressive to me. Well done! read more

Ricardo Gutierrez hooked me up fast and opened a business checking with no hiccups Definitely five stars Worth the drive and many locations to do business with read more

Went in yesterday to open a saving account @ 5:50pm a so called Manager didnt neven greet us , she just rushedly straight up asked" how can i help you ?" She seemed so rushed because they were about to close . She denied service because it takes them 45min to open a saving account when i already have a checking account !? I work M-Sat 9am-5pm and you guys arent able to make any accommodations for your customers ? Or atleast a sign that states that it's required 45min prior to open any accounts , so that i wouldnt have rushed to pick up my kids and head to your branch before closing . I guess i'll never have a saving account with chase . Bad service ! read more

Trying to speak to a customer service rep at the Chase Bank on Sweetwater Rd., is almost impossible. After calling the local number 4 times, I called the 800 number and now on hold there. I was thinking about transferring my accounts to this Branch given I moved to a new location recently, but after this on a Wed. afternoon at 3:50 PM run around, I won't be moving my account. My current account is with the North Park Branch in San Diego CA and I've never waited or had this lengthy delay. I've been with that branch since the mid 70's and always had prompt customer service. read more

Chase Bank: I'm so sick of you stealing money from me in over draft fees. I see a lot of other banks out there with much better customer service. You make money hand over fist off the backs of working people just becuse us working people can't get to an ATM before your "cut off time" Its 2019. Competition is fierce. Your stuffy, greedy, shady practices are out of date. You steal money. I'm so sick of your over draft fees. I'm taking my banking elsewhere. I hope as a bank, I hope that you fail. Being able to write this review is some kind of justice and restitution for me since you stole my hard earned money. Have a nice life Chase Bank. read more

Small branch, but wonderful customer service! They have recently remodeled and have given each Chase agent a more private and enclosed desk space. Also, they have closed 3 teller windows and have placed 2 large self-serve ATMs in front of those teller windows. You can make a large withdrawal from the machines in any denominations. There are still 2 teller windows open if you prefer human interaction. During my visit, I was helped by Veronica to take care of my auto loan. She was very friendly and courteous. I waited patiently while she processed all the necessary paperwork. Overall, I was very pleased with my visit and the level of customer care that each representative showed each customer that walked in. read more

Worse bank ever. There are 2 tellers with a line to the door. The rest of the staff are sitting at desks doing nothing saying that everybody just needs to wait for a teller. The manager is tying to convince people to use the machines instead of adding another teller read more

Apparently only the Hispanic customers are important. I stood in line to a simple hello but every other Hispanic customer was greeted and asked what they needed. Each Hispanic customer was then asked to have a seat while they were taken as priority. While waiting in line myself and other customers had to wait while the person helping them jumps onto the computer while the window clerks are helping those in front us. As an African American who speaks Spanish I found this act profane. I informed the manager but she didn't seem to care just stated she will talk to him. The employee who is responsible for this despicable service is Javier. I will be sure to conduct my business dealings at another branch of chase from now on. read more

Terrible bank. Will not correct fraud charges and will not help to get this fixed or check for skimming issues on local atms.

Very unfriendly staff. I'm always disappointed by this place. Sadly I bank with Chase and this is the closest one to the house, but I do avoid it when at all possible. read more

MINUS 100 if I could give this branch: To whom it may concern: My mothers brother had been a very long time customer over 10+ years. Recently he passed and left my mother the account with well over $16k. My Uncle and Mother are well in the 80's and Uncle when he passed left my mother the account. For some unknown reason someone locked the account. Noone in our family did this and he just passed less than a month ago. Well we went to the branch in Spring Valley CA only to find out that we were unable to get the funds DUE to my mother until Tues or Wed. Some BS about the section was not open on Saturday and that the branches are only open during the week. I call bull and was not happy with the branch :manager" acting and that NOONE could help my mother. I live in Los Angeles and took the day to make sure my mother got her money, Now she has to go back to the branch tues or wed to get her money because some little clerk has to unlock the account. Again BS on your bank we have never dealt with Chase and never will again. It's said that no one cared. You have a acting manager with a expensive suit and tie on $200plus shoes and acting like he cared but he had no clue what its like to live on a fixed income didn't care we were so upset when we left didn't get a resolution. So unprofessional so not cared. My mother will be back early in the week to take the funds and CLOSE Out the account and you will get a bad review on yelp and whomever I can tell. There should at a minimum have 1 person that knows what the frick they are doing in cases like thin on a Sat. SO NEVER GO WITH CHASE HORRIBLE yes I should have don't my due diligence but who know it would take 2 plus days to get the account open read more

Worst unorganized chase I've been to. Only two people outside of the tellers helping out customers,

I received excellent customer service. Will be going to this location for all my Banking needs

I met with Kyle Green, to discuss opening a new business account and resolve a compromised Chase Visa card. Kyle was so efficient and professional in resolving both of my issues quickly. He provided me additional information regarding my business account. Chase has a real asset in Mr. Green! read more

Worst bank I have ever dealt with. Worst customer service. They have zero training and knowledge about what they do. I wouldn't bank with them! Their customer service phone number also lacks on comprehension and knowledge. I would rather bank with Wells Fargo where they seem to actually find an answer when they might not have one rather than be lazy and tell you misleading information. read more
