I recently visited the Chase Bank branch in Solana Beach and wanted to recognize the outstanding service I received. Gabby and the team member working with her were both very kind and welcoming. From the moment I walked in, they greeted me warmly with pleasant smiles, which made the experience very comfortable. Gabby, especially, was incredibly helpful and patient. I know I may have been a slightly demanding customer since I requested new bills in multiple denominations -- 20s, 10s, 5s, 2s, and 1s -- but she handled everything politely and with such patience. She never made me feel like it was an inconvenience. Gabby truly deserves a 5-star recognition. She is a wonderful employee and a great representative of your branch. read more

I visited my local branch with the intention of getting a medallion signature guarantee, so I could deposit my shares. Right from the start, the manager Fozia appeared quite annoyed that I hadn't made an appointment beforehand. I explained that I had just called and the teller had informed me that the manager could assist me if I had been a customer for over a year. However, the manager immediately declared that she was busy and that I would have to wait, no worries at all , So, I patiently waited. Few moments later she requested my identification and went into her office, mentioning that she needed to consult with the legal department .... I think because she didn't know what the hell she was doing. Needless to say, this made me feel quite uncomfortable as a client. A few minutes later, she called me into her office and began asking for various forms. It took me some time, but I managed to gather everything. She had no idea what she was doing. A medallion signature guarantee is a specific type of certification stamp that ensures the authenticity of a signature authorizing the transfer of securities. It is commonly required when an individual wishes to sell or transfer securities, such as stocks or bonds, that are held in physical certificate form. The purpose of the medallion signature guarantee is to prevent forgery and protect the owner's ( MY ) personal signature. Im appalled by the branch manager's behavior. Despite my providing all the necessary documents, I was upset but kept my cool. I just needed my signature authenticated told her I had been a client for over 20 years. her response was both loud and condescending. She repeatedly said, "Thank you. Thank you." This display of disrespect was utterly unacceptable, especially considering her role as a branch manager. Fozia, your behavior was disgraceful, and you should feel ashamed of yourself. You not being comfortable doing the signature guarantee is one thing ...... Your horrible attitude though, needs help. read more

Wow - what a trash bag organization manifested through each and every one of their local branches. My business account has been erroneously flagged for fraud several times in the last few weeks which has prevented me from running my business which in turn threatens my livelihood. I visited this branch on a Saturday afternoon and there was literally only two people in the branch - a teller and a "branch manager" -- I think his name was Dick DeSola. He looked tired and glossy-eyed (read: baked) when he approached us in the lobby and escorted us to a nearby teller station. I spent several minutes explaining to him the structure of our business and recent issues in an effort to give him the information to create a solution. It was immediately apparent he did not possess the: a) capacity b) authority and most importantly c) interest or desire to help us. Alas, after responding not once but twice "you are just not giving me enough information" he looked me dead in the eye and said "I am no longer willing to help you" and walked away from us. A local, family-owned/operated business owner kicked out of a big bank branch because the branch is understaffed, undertrained and apparently abandon customers in need. read more

I set an online meeting to open another business checking account with this local branch. I'm a bit disappointed that Zebulon Koons missed my meeting and didn't bother responding back to my email when I asked if the meeting was still a go. It would have been okay if the meeting was canceled and I was notified. But waiting around for a call and receiving nothing is not a good look for Chase. It's frustrating that I took time off work for this. I will no longer choose Chase over Wells Fargo. Looks like this branch needs to focus on better customer service. read more

Two appointments were missed with the financial advisors (I showed up to both). The first one neither financial advisor was there. The second meeting only 1 was there and they said the appointment was scheduled at 9:30 instead of 10 like I had in my calendar. There was no paper trail to confirm the correct meeting time. I asked why they did not attempt to reach me by phone as they had previously done. The banker laughed and said "hey we tried to schedule the meeting". I do not know how corporate allows these people to manage other people's money. Very polite and yet ineffective 2 weeks in a row! read more

Very nice tellers and never many people inside to compete my time with anytime I have been in there. They have coffee out if you need a fix, it's always clean and easy to park. Never had a problem but also rarely have to go inside. read more

The inside looks big, but there's not too many workers. The lines inside could get backed up and when driving back onto Lomas Sante Fe Dr, you also could be stuck in traffic getting back on the freeway. I wish there was more than 1 ATM inside the store. And it's very quiet in here. They do need music playing at all times. read more

My ATM card was expired when I asked Amber to help me withdraw cash . She not only got my cash withdrawed but also offered me to get my new card delivered to me in 3 days. I am so glad that she offered me the service. She is truly a people person and ready to go an extra mile to help out others. read more

My daughter had a home invasion and her birth certificate and unused checks were stolen. When she went into the Chase bank in Solana Beach to report the theft the personal were extremely helpful. In a couple of days I accompanied her to this bank and the manager spoke with us. She was so understanding, patient, ready to facilitate the ease of obtaining funds and never hurried us to leave. Waited too long to make a 1 minute transaction, left and tried the ATM, also waited while someone there refinanced the Empire State Building, left. Too long to waste time for a one minute transaction that I cannot do in my phone. read more
