We had some questions about a 1099 we received from Chase, so we set up a phone appointment with Lupita. She called us right on time, solved our problems right away after the Chase answer center and JP Morgan couldn't, and even remembered me talking to her last April, even bringing up small details from our conversation back then. We were very impressed with her and her professionalism. read more

Unprofessional and poor management. While I understand that Oakdale may not be a highly populated location for a bank like a Chase, it is still a bank and should offer services to its customers. I came here with my mother wanting to remove myself from her account. My mom lives 6 hours (driving) away and was visiting so we thought it was a good opportunity to go to the bank to do this. Wrong. We were told the next appointment was the following day. Wow. Really? A simple service to remove someone from an account. This is ridiculous. We don't live in the same city. I don't recommend this branch because it is not properly staffed or doesn't have proper staff training to provide typical bank services to customers. Bad experience and will likely cause me to close all my accounts at Chase. Months later when I visit my mother we went to the Chase bank where she lives and it took all of 5-10 minutes. What a joke this branch is. This location of Chase bank should be retrained because the quality of service is poor. I recall getting a phone call from this branch telling me that it was open again after Covid closure. That was highly suspicious Spam but now that I had this experience, makes sense at the unprofessional operation. The parking is not too busy but it is located in the middle of the city. There's a Starbucks in the same plaza. There are one way exits and it can be pretty inconvenient. read more

They have excellent customer service, are very nice, and approachable. I've been with them for almost 20 years. They have three ATMs during the day and two at night. ATMs outside are seldom closed. read more

This is definitely the most professional bank in Oakdale. The customer service is stellar! They definitely have all your banking needs covered. read more

This particular Chase has been a good experience. I have done wire transfers, opened up new accounts, and made them my main banking choice. It is conveniently located in the middle of town. The parking is shared with another bank, a few stores, and a Starbucks. read more

I unfortunately had to go ahead and close my account there just because it was too far from where I'm living, but other than that I've had great experiences at this location. Granted I've only done basic banking with them, but everyone I've had to ask for help or assistance has always been willing to help. When I closed my account I was treated fairly, which I wasn't expecting as most banks try to coerce you into staying with them or are just flat out rude when you have an issue. I simply explained to them about the distance being the only reason and received nothing but respect back. In my years banking with Chase, I also was happy that they had quickly caught and shut off my debit card when someone had scammed my card numbers through a phishing device at a gas pump a few years ago. I ended up not losing any money and once I understood why my card wasn't working I was actually glad about it! Draw back is that you can no longer just go into a Chase Bank location to get a new debit card, it has to be sent in the mail which takes about a week. I get it, but still a little frustrating. And Chase notifying me of this issue was very slow; I only found out because I called them about my card not working. They did send something in the mail explaining what had happened but I received it long afterwards. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. I took my 90 year old father to help access his account and the branch has been closed for 2 1/2 months due to Covid. The options that were given were... 1. Make an appointment online. This is very difficult to do if you're a 90 year old couple with no internet access. 2. Call the 800 number that continues to loop through the same message. 3. Drive 30 minutes to the Modesto branch. How is a 90 year old supposed to do this without a license? So the branch employee we finally did see via closed door at the Oakdale branch suggested that we remove our money and go to another bank. This was very disheartening and makes me think twice about banking with Chase. read more

I have been a Chase Bank customer for years, and I just bought a new home and moved to oakdale and figured in a small town I would be better off dealing my business locally; surprise, surprise: this is the branch with the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with, not only as far as chase but with any other bank. It almost seems like I'm asking for a favor when I come into this branch to withdraw my own money, I just feel like I'm not welcome here! I know I have choices, and it seems like baking with chase for all my business is worth nothing at this branch. I have never said this but I feel this employees here are the worst I have ever seen in banking business. read more

Sabrina, was nice and helpful. Excellent service and no wait time. Yes,I do recommend everyone to come here.

I never had a bank refused to take cash for me as long as I've been doing banking this location does not take cash and less you are the account holder or you're on the account I was livid! never get account at Chase ! Absolutely ridiculous you can't put cash in someone's account! read more

I have been a member of this bank for the past three years and the staff has been very professional. When ever I go to the front desk or to see one of their desk staff, they have always been helpful. Being a veteran, they were very helpful in ensuring that bi knew about and took advantage of Chase's benefits they offered those who served. read more

Just went to transfer money to another account cause they charge if we do It online so we get there at 5:50pm and they are closed but It says they are closed at 6pm. Employees must of been in hurry for the weekend. read more

Terrible new policy!! How can I NOT deposit cash to my brother who banks with you guys??? You want me to send CASH via postal service in an envelope? How about you give me the money for the stamp, the time I wasted at your bank and the time I'm gonna spend at the post office!! This is ludicrous, unacceptable and inconvenient. As a customer service place, the inconvenience should be something you try to mitigate. I'm done...my brother better change banks or else no dinero. Done!! read more

I just love this bank so much. I love how you can deposit cash into the ATM and now they have that ATM inside where you can withdrawal more than the standard $400 limit. I called today to talk about a couple fees I was charged and Jason was very helpful, very friendly, and told me to come down and he would try to get those fees waived. I went down there and he was with a guest so Andrew was happy to help me instead and took care of my fees in no time at all. They were both very friendly and didn't make me feel like I was a waste of their time. I am very satisfied with everything about this Chase bank, although the parking situation is a little crazy at times but that's not their fault. read more

Do not bank at Chase!! They don't guarantee your money when fraudulent activity happens. Someone did a PayPal transfer from my daughter's savings account for $1490.00. I still have yet to see the money returned to me. Run away from this Bank!!! read more

We have banked at this Oakdale bank since it became Chase. While some things can improve we have found them to be as good as it can be, with regards to banking. The small town service is really great. The current manager Andrew is truly an excellent example to his staff of excellent customer service! read more

Extremely disappointed after my visit today. I'm a new customer of chase of about 3 months. I'm a waitress and deposit anywhere from $300-600 cash every week. Today after a busy weekend I go to deposit all my cash and the teller was down right RUDE! I believe her name was melodi, at least that's what my deposit slips says. She asked if I knew how much cash I was depositing and I replied no about $500-$6 something. She literally rolled her eyes and said she could not count it. Well I have never had an issue before. She didn't verify the amount she was depositing with me or ask which account. When she was done she set the recite down and didn't say anything just looked at me. I am so disappointed with the customer service. I understand everyone has bad days but the attitude is unnecessary! read more

This is hands down the worst Bank I've ever been to! The branch manager Andrew S. Burkum was the most condescending jerk I've ever had the displeasure of banking with. read more
