    Credit, where credit is due. 3rd attempt…read more Visited this Wells Fargo Branch on 6/14/2021 @ 3:35 PM and was expecting another let down pertaining to an estate account issue. But we were totally shocked. We were able to speak with a manager (Gregory) and business agent (Denise) to explain our situation. They really cared. There is hope in this world. To start with the teller (Vincent) on duty immediately asked us if he could help us. We explained we needed to speak with a bank representative and that we had a 4:00 PM appointment. He was very kind to bring us a couple of chairs to sit on while he announced our presence. This was impressive. He was the first teller that actually made us feel welcome. Yes, we are seniors so the chairs really made us feel welcome. Very nice young man as he assured us that he would let his team know that we had arrived early for our appointment. Thank you! Then the manager came to ask us how he could be of assistance. So we proceeded to explain and he assured us that they would help us get this issue resolved. Yes a real super nice bank manager that actually cared. Unbelievable! Now to top it all off he directed us to the nicest business agent we have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. She was so professional and soft spoken. She listened to our issue and said she would do everything in her power to get this resolved today. Wow, she was great. She took the time to listen to our concerns. And she did. Yes, it did take some time but we were just ecstatic that she was able to. This young lady was excellent. The other branches should take note. We had actually had given up with Wells Fargo until yesterday. The larger branches need to be trained by this branch on how to treat a customer. If Wells Fargo would acknowledge excellent people like this maybe they could replenish their customer base that they have lost the last few years. Yup, me being one of them. My thanks to the staff at your Harmon's Taylorsville branch, small but big on service. It's worth traveling the extra few miles to get service like this. Thank you, thank you, and thank you!

    This location has to be one of the worst! The wait time are unacceptable and the customer service…read morewas just as bad. I have been there a couple times and thought maybe it was the exception, but apparently this horrible service is common place. I don't live in Ut. but have been visiting family. I will never go to this location again and if I experience what I experienced the other day, I will be moving my money to another bank. Extremely disappointed! Especially since I have been with Wells for many years. They WILL NOT be getting word of mouth referrals from me.

I am a WFB customer in NV and I tried to give this WFB at 70 E…read more3300 S Salt Lake City UT 84115 a little "heads up", but my effort was unsuccessful because when I called this branch and told their customer service what the issue was, I was told, "please hold momentarily, and then placed on hold (with music) for 25 minutes before I finally gave up and then disconnected, there was no "call back". On Independence Day, a bank holiday, I received a telephone call from this bank's phone number. The caller identified himself as "J.C. Murphy" from "WFB Fraud Investigation" and he inquired as to whether or not I had just recently made charges to my WFB credit card for air travel in Malaysia and for 30 $100 Amazon gift cards. I became suspicious about this call and told the caller, and then also his "supervisor", that I was going to disconnect and then call WFB at the assistance number printed on my WFB debit and credit cards to independently confirm this information. I then did exactly that and I learned from a "real" WFB fraud investigator that there were no pending charges against my WFB debit or credit cards, and that WFB was essentially universally shut down for the Independence Day holliday, and that the caller-ID information that appeared on the call that I received had probably been "spoofed" to make it appear that it was coming from a "main" WFB number. Actually, the "spoofed" WFB number that I received came from the area code 801 number for this South Salt Lake City Wells Fargo branch, which "resembles" the 800 toll-free numbers used by corporate WFB offices. And the purpose of my attempted call today to this SLC, UT Branch was to inform someone interested and responsible at this branch that their phone number had apparently been "spoofed" and used for this purpose, but I totally failed in that effort, because the employee that I connected with at this WFB branch unfortunately, apparently "just didn't give a damn". I am a very minor Wells Fargo shareholder and perhaps I care more about Wells Fargo's successes and failures than some of Wells Fargo's employees do?
