I read a lot of bad reviews about Wells Fargo banks around the area, but decided that they were a major national brand and one that could work no matter where we were. We went in to open the account and waited about 30 minutes. There were three people in front of us and two people working with customers (other than the regular tellers). We signed in and waited. When it was finally our turn, the lady who helped us was super helpful and got us completely taken care of. Including the wait, it took about an hour to open the account, but it was painless when we got started. The lady was also helpful, offering ideas for places around Midland to eat, get our hair cut and more (we asked, it wasn't just thrown out there). Very happy there. I read horror stories from branches around Midland when it comes to waiting in drive thru lanes. I made my first deposit yesterday morning and was in and out in a matter of minutes. Just as quick as any other bank I have used. Very friendly teller too. Finally, I love the extras like seeing balances through text messages and depositing checks through a phone app. I am very happy with Wells Fargo so far.

I have been told by bank tellers that I cannot make payments online. Good luck trying to get ahold of someone to make a payment over the phone. Depending on who you talk to there is also a fee to pay over the phone. Most of the time when I call, I get transferred so many times that I get hung up on or I get to leave a message on their voice mail. If you love having bad customer service this is the bank for you. I should not have to pay for stamps to mail in my payment... This is 2018! Technology is at an all time high.

Shockingly backward experience at this Credit Union. I needed to open an account after closing a…read morelong-time relationship with another local credit union. I was told that it was required I present a hard copy of my Social Security Card to open the requested account. I have not had a copy since 1982 and have not needed it, what with having an actual Social Security Number. This is not a federal law or a local law, so I tried calling their offices to find out what was going on. Because ALL branches, apparently, of the Citizens Federal Credit Union were "short-handed," I talked to three receptionists who all tried to transfer me to "Membership" and simply gave me the opening menu message you get from a generic call to the place. Dear lord. I think there was definitely a message coming through that I did not want to leave my hard-earned money in this wretched, disorganized business. Went to Plan B and all is well. But, I would think twice before doing business with these folks.

very dissapointed! i have been dealing with MFCU for 6 years and everything was smooth. i recently…read moremoved away from Midland and so i made my loan payments and Credit card payment monthly over the phone with no problems. until Friday Sept 9, i called and some dip shit kid proceeds to tell me that there is a $7.50 fee for phone transactions. no letters, warnings, phone calls, nothing. not only that, but they wont take the credit card payment over the phone any more. instead he directed me to go to mycard.com, which looks like a hackers paradise. now i may be late on my card payment and get to look forward to spending an additional $7.5 each month until the loans are paid off. that's not alot of money but the principle is very agitating now im angry, i will be paying the loans off alot earlier to avoid the interest and shutting the accts down. another act of greed from a cash cow in the oil field. good luck

They've just changed their online banking system and it is a TOTAL mess! Only shows a few statements listed (out of order) and some of those are duplicates, PLUS my statement is TOTALLY messed up! Shows I had a $900 overdraft (overdraft protection on my account is $500), same day as I made a deposit and got a printed receipt showing the deposit and the balance my online statement showed a balance of half of that at the time I made the deposit! CNB should REALLY beta test their online banking systems before unleashing it on their customers!
