Chase Bank - Banks & Credit Unions Near Me - Houston, Texas

Currently @ Chase bank in midtown; I have a legal document to get my business partner off the bank account. I was asked for my ID and since I did not have it, I said that I have a photo of it and I can email my ID and the business banker literally said and I quote " this is a financial institution. A baaannnnnkkkk " in a smug / condescending tone. Then I called Chase and got put on hold and transferred then a voice recording to call back:/ I grabbed ID and went to the one on West Gray. Way nicer!! read more

Marquis had me in and out in less than an hour. I normally avoid going to the bank at all cost but this was something that had to be done in person and I actually left feeling better than before. Didn't feel like a chore! read more

Overall bad customer service and location- multiple negative experiences before leaving review. My advice if they give you any trouble w a transaction or don't accept your cash is to literally just go down the street to another location Not even 10 minutes after I left, I went to the other closest Chase and they quickly and easily accommodated me without issue. Almost closed my Chase account and went with Wells Fargo after multiple times of negative experiences after being a customer for 6+ years but this other chase made me change my mind :) read more

I didn't remember why and how I got here. But I do remember Chase Bank was conveniently located on my path to somewhere in Midtown. GPS guided me to find Chase sign bright and shiny on top of the building from distance at night. What a lifesaver. My wallet was crying fir cash badly. So, I drove up to find ATM. The directional sign was kind of confusing. I know It's just the way banks are setup. I didn't like the layout as I recalled. I had to drive around the building and around the drive-thru teller area to get to the drive-thru ATM. Of course, I could just use walk up ATM, but I was lazy. But I need to be vigilant at this hour. Since there was no one else waiting. I was in and out of here quickly. Just don't know why it took forever after I made my selection. **51th review of 2018** read more

I love this branch! Very professional and friendly staff! The branch manager Mr. Larry is extremely helpful and friendly. I love the tellers and bankers as well. They all are very informative and patient. read more

I've visited this branch to make deposits several times. Once to replace my debit card. Which was a breeze. They make the debit cards on site and there no wait time to receive it in the mail. That might be old. But it's new to me. This last visit was to open another account. I forgot the personal bakers name, but she was a pleasure to work with. She answered all my questions and made the process a breeze. While I was doing my business, I brought a friend with me and he was offered coffee and chatted with the greeter. Okay so this branch is located in the corner McGowen and Smith in the parking lot with Gloria's. There's a drive up and walk up ATM. And a drive up bank. And walk in branch. It's in the center of midtown. So I assume they get lots of business. But I have never seen a lot of people there at one time. Which is a good thing. I loved this branch and would recommend it to anyone. read more

I would give it 0 stars if I could. A fraudulent travel agency scammed me out of almost $1200. Even with proof, they sided with the fraudulent company. I was a customer with them for over 40 years and they sided with the bad guy. Rude, selfish, greedy are words to describe them. Bye Bye Chase. Good riddance! Worst bank ever. read more

I came, I went to teller, I left. Easy as that. But obviously that was my one time experience I was here. Your experience may vary. Only one teller when I came in, but as soon as I waited in line, another one showed up and helped me. I just needed to cash a money order and the whole process took less than two minutes. He was a very friendly teller too! No complaints from me. read more

I happen to be on my way to Wells Fargo to open account but I Noticed Chase was next door. I have heard good things about the business accounts. When I walked in the branch around noon there were zero customers inside and about six employees at their desk. No one greeted me, I finally made eye contact with an agent and walked over and requested to know more about business accounts. She then told me she had an appointment soon and I could set an appointment for the next day. read more

I had a great experience today! Emmanuel helped me right away and clarified information for me to avoid returning. Thanks!

I had a great experience and Mr. Anthony assisted me with my withdrawals, deposits, and cashiers checks. Thank you so much!

Quick Tips: Slloowww service. They said they would be right with us - after 10 minutes we just ended up leaving the branch. It also wasn't packed, I saw ONE other customer in the store. And I knoowww good Chase service, because I LOVE my Chase branch on Alabama near Kirby. They are always prompt and super friendly. read more

Made an appointment with Anthony at 4:30, when I got there, I've been informed he is with a client and is just wrapping up. 10 min later he informed me that its gonna take him about an hour to see me!!! He even mentioned that his duty is over at 5 but he will make an exception for me!!!!!! This is when I got really upset, and he told me, go to another branch!!!!!!!!! OMG.... Teller ppl are usually ok but business banking personnel, forget it. read more

Thank you for all of your great hospitality through out the years. Thank you Maria and thank you all for your professional leadership.

Yelp needs to allow for negative reviews for this branch. Chase in general might be good but for prompt service go elsewhere. I think they actually disconnect their phones to avoid calls here. It's been 3+ hours of trying to get through on a Friday afternoon and no luck. I have called a rep direct, the bank direct, and the general line. No one picks up. I know they are open as I walked on earlier on the morning to sign up for a new CC account. Be forewarned, only rely on them if have nothing else better to do with your time than write bad reviews for their service... read more

Private client trying to reach McGowan branch to see if they have a notary on site. They don't answer the phone. Having to go through online teller to find out. NOT GOOD SERVICE. read more

This bank has its issues, but they do try. It does seem short staffed at times, but thats how all Chase banks are now. Its mostly a walk in ATM, with a teller window that also services the drive thru. They have some bankers, but they are either always busy, or in the back. I rarely have to go inside, and really hate when I absolutely have to, but they get the job done, not fast, but done. read more

Chase, especially this one has become the Home Depot of banks. No one seems to work here and the business bankers take more time off than anyone. I will be closing my business account here. Just terrible. read more

Nice Building... Where were the employee's though? TOOK FOREVER TO GET SOMETHING NOTARIZED, AND THEN THE GUY WAS LESS THAN FRIENDLY ABOUT IT. read more

Every time I come to this Chase every single teller is just super nice. It's the closest Chase to my house and I'm really happy about it. Keep up the great work guys, you all rock. :) read more

Here waiting on the banker with a friend. She needs to close her account since she is leaving the country. The manager was helping her and suggest her to have the money in check instead of cash. She was making a phone call to her personal bank at another location. The manager said he will help another customer first. After she made the phone call. We couldn't find the manager and other banker said he left without telling us!! What kind of service is this?! So another banker wants us to wait for another 30 mins since she is helping another customer. Chase is a huge bank! This kind of service is unacceptable!! Not to mention the guy is the branch manager!! read more

Extremely Disappointed and Dissatisfied with the service presented to me today. I was refused to make a deposit through a teller but forced to make it through an ATM, a Second time actually after I specifically expressed interest in doing it through a teller. With that condescending tone presented to me, I will not be returning to this branch. read more

Love this branch! They waved my check fee because there was a 2 minute wait time. So nice! This is why I am a loyal chase customer.

By far one of the worst chase branches I've ever been to. The service is extremely slow and the workers are extremely lazy. The "assistant manager" acts as if she's too busy to help while I watched her sit back and do nothing while I waited in the lobby for 45 minutes. This branch doesn't understand customer service. I would highly recommend going to another branch, like the one downtown. A lot friendlier and quicker service. read more

Teller service is extremely slow every time. I don't think they staff the tellers up to keep up with three lanes.
