staff has minimal level of enthusiasm. Not very eager to conduct business. Hard to maintain an ongoing relationship.

This is my go to drive thru ATM. I love not getting out of the car. There usually never is a long line, and it's in a great location.

Working in retail myself I generally give people the benefit of the doubt that maybe they are having a not-so-great day. I went to this branch to get change for $100. It is the Friday before the first so I expected a line; there were five people ahead of me and a few behind. What I didn't expect was that out of the four employees present only one was actively working. One woman was on her phone behind a register but she wasn't taking customers. The other two were pacing the floor while twiddling their thumbs. At one point one of the pacers goes behind the counter but doesn't take customers, just looks at the line as if it will magically go down by doing so. The culture at this bank seems to be, it's OK to do next to nothing at work. Almost thirty minutes later it is finally my turn. I am not greeted or apologized to for the wait. I get my change. I get no "thank you" or "have a nice day." Listen, I do not want to be treated like the Queen of Sheba, but I do expect more professionalism and decent customer when I visit the bank. Needless to say but I will anyway. This will no longer be the branch I visit to help with teller assisted transactions.

TD Bank - Very nice employees and bigger space no wait!

Unfortunately, when my son went to have two documents notarized, he was turned him away numerous times -- notary not here, or come back next week. A neighborhood bank should not suggest services are available but reject certain customers on a whim or because they are under 25.

I had something to handle which required a money order and unfortunately Chase (across the street) was already closed. I shrugged that off and figured I'd get what I needed from a competing bank. I approached the teller and asked for a money order, the manager behind her overheard I wasn't a member of their bank and interrupted our conversation to say "we only provide that to non-customers". Shocked by her interrupting and that statement I asked for clarification to which I received very bluntly, "bank policy". After asking for what prompted this policy and what being a TD client had anything to do with funds exchanging hands I decided to leave... her attitude just kept increasing. On my way out I simply asked the guy who was online in front of me to purchase a money order for me and he agreed to do so. I explained to him what happened and he was equally stunned. We approached the teller once more, with her manager right behind her and asked for the money order. The manager began with her, "I just told you..." and was interrupted by the TD client with a "hey, relax for a minute. I'm a client of your bank and all I want is a money order for my friend. Should I report you to corporate?" That immediately silenced her. We proceeded with our transaction and left. So it seems the manager was either being as ahole because if it were a bank policy then having the threat of being told on to corporate wouldn't have halted her barrage of bs. The result was me getting the money order I needed, making a friend at the bank, and also spending 40mins in this terrible bank due to an ahole of a manager. Please avoid this place!!!

His first question was: "what type of checking account do you have?" I was puzzled and I said, "a regular one." Mr. B then quickly told me that only the smallest safe was available (cost: $90). I told him that 10 days ago, 2 bankers showed me 2 options: the $90 safe and the next-size-up of (about) $103. I told Mr. B that I wanted the $103 safe, but he stated that they were all taken and that it would be in my interest to quickly get the $90 safe before the branch runs out of them. I went ahead and reluctantly paid for the smallest safe. Mr. B's inquiry about my type of checking account at the onset of our exchange and his haughty demeanor made me very upset (considering that I opened my checking account at that branch more than a decade ago). If I had a certain checking account (e.g., Chase Private Client Checking), would I have gotten the larger safe? I think this is a rather unfair and unethical practice.

But the line moved so fast, and/or she was so two-faced, that she was chatting up the teller about her snazzy new haircut by the time she got serviced. The tellers here have the patience of Job, I swear. And there's a bowl of free candy! Yay!
