It takes a lot of following up to get things done and the delays have resulted in me having late payments and unnecessary holds. It is starting to affect my day to day and I think it will be best for me to close my account. I haven't had experiences like this at any other branch so I'm not sure if it's just Downey or if they do it on purpose or what exactly but it's added unnecessary stress to know my bank isn't working for me but rather making my life harder.

Long line and only two tellers…read more I usually use the atm outside but I needed to also take care of one more thing so went inside. First time inside this location and pretty clean...smells like a bank lol like I feel it has a scent just like hospitals have theirs lol Once I got to the teller, Erica was the one who helped me out and answered my concerns. She was friendly and courteous. Good service, other than having two tellers and a long line I would still recommend it, the service at end made up for it.

They finally stopped chit chatting when a customer and I loudly commented the line was getting longer and the tellers were closing up to randomly walk around in the back. As retaliation the teller told me to go deposit my check at the ATM..after having me wait for 40 min in line. I sarcastically asked her if she could help me if I gave her a dinner recipe? As I walked to the ATM another bank rep rushed over from her cubicle in the back and asked me 3 times if I wanted to close my account...3 times! Conveniently none of them had name tags. I decided to go to Chase and open up my account there to deposit my check. I've been with BofA for over 25 years and rarely use the tellers. This experience was horrible and plan to close my account as soon as I set up direct deposit with Chase!
