I walk in and all the staff are engaging, friendly, welcoming asking if you need help etc. Just a great team there. A check I always cash at my local chase without any issue. The teller that assisted me asked his coworker, if the check could be cashed, which she responded saying no and addressed to me saying that there was a "new policy in place which stated that the State checks are unable to be cashed, and a printed copy of the policy could be provided to me". I expressed to them that I felt discriminated, as it was never an issue before at my local bank. I had funds in my checking account and never had a bad check. When I requested the printed policy, the female teller suddenly had a change of tone and said that she was unsuccessful to locate such policy. She then left to request help at bankers section & stated she needed help with printing out a notice. She then approached the woman, who I overheard unprofessionally exclaimed "Oh my god, are you kidding me", whom I shortly found out that the woman was the branch supervisor. After some time the printed "policy" was handed to me, and I left the bank. I read the policy doesn't say that State checks can't be cashed. I went back to my local branch and was able to cash it. This branch needs to understand their own bank policies and be re trained. As for the the supervisor with the rainbow hair shame on you in the customer service you provide. You also failed to put on my complaint to Chase how you expressed your self when your colleague went to ask you for help.

To shorten I wasn't allowed a cashiers check to put a down payment on condo, and was also refused service at the teller line to pull 40 dollars. Mind you, not once did I yell, curse or even be disrespectful. When I told the BM I'm moving have you ever moved? She got up and dismissed me like I was a peasant. I went over to Antioch branch, spoke with Vincent and he resolved everything and listened and allowed me to vent about my experience. He was a banker, manager, therapist, and someone that I feel truly cared.
