Was trying to withdrawal money from both chase account and credit union inside the ATM outside chase charges you a 3.50 fee inside it's free. The teller that assisted me was using my ID to withdrawal money and after she wasn't able to complete the transaction she didn't want to try again because she stated it would flag my ID. I've never had issues before so I'm not sure what the problem was. I have used other chase banks and they simply ask me for both cards. It was just an inconvenience for me to have to drive to another chase that was able to assist me. Other than that parking lot is small. Two atm's outside the one closest to the street smells like urine. There was no wait with plenty of tellers. read more

This location needs to update their hours on yelp. Came on a Saturday after looking on yelp to see what time this location closes, online says 4pm. When we got here it says they close on Saturday at 2pm. Very big inconvenience. read more

This is one of my favorite Chase banks around. It's never busy and lots of parking unlike the downtown Chula Vista Branch. Usually in and out within minutes. The tellers are very nice and receptive. Never had any issues here. I don't use the ATM but it's right next to the door and has a small enclosing which is nice for privacy. read more

Bad experience at this Chase location the biggest in the Financial world. They charge you when you pay w/debit card (your money)to another bank credit unión etc., They don't tell you they just do. The payment was made to C. coast c.u. at 600 feet away from this "Chase" Ohh yeah you need to be inform.., really? well that's why is your bank to be on your side & assist you but Not it when comes to take your money.. November 4, 2023, I entered to ask if there was anyone working that day that could process my IRA contribution as the last time the banker hand to make a call to tbe walked through the steps. The greeter/teller (Jocelyn) told me to wait. I replied that nust wanted a yes or no answer, so she went to find a banker. The courteous female banker told me yes. so Iff I went for a cashier's check. Upon my return, Jocelyn did not say anything. I did notice, however, that the female banker I had talked to was busy. So I sat down to wait. After a t least ten minutes, the branch manager, Gerardo (I think), sent Jocely on a break and covered for her. After another five or six minutes, I rose and told him that I was there to make an IRA contribution. He replied raising his voice that I would have to keep waiting because his bankers were busy. He then asked (still in a raised voice) if I signed in. I told him that the greeter didn't say anything to me even though she knkew why I was there and that I had been waiting over fifteen minutes. (I was the only customer waiting ata a cushioned bench-like piede of furniture that was actually facing the wall! ) He snapped back defending his employee instead of whoeing any interest whatsoever in what I had to say. After a moment, he went to acubicle. With a smirk, he muttered something to banker Salvador who galcned at me and chuckled before calling me over. These three demonstrated immuture, unprofessional behavior. I wrote their Executive Office in Columbus, OH, but only received two letters acknowledging having received my complaint. read more

I went in to Chase to resolve an unsolicited order of supplements that was sent to me and a Visa bill on my account for $200 for the supplements. I was fortunate to have Teller Crystal to help me. She contacted the Visa department that handles these cases and she wrote out the steps for me that had to be done to resolve the problem. Crystal was very professional, helpful and friendly. I was very impressed with this business establishment. From the very moment I walked in, my family was greeted with a smile and a genuine hello. The employees here were so kind and friendly. You can tell that there are good people who work here. They take pride in their jobs and serving customers. I have been here multiple times and have never had a bad experience. That really says a lot about this business and their employees. I will be back to patronize this business and would recommend it to anyone in the area. A+ service all the way. Five . I was really disappointed with the customer service. I was already signed in the lobby and sat down patiently. One man was ahead of me, and another lady signed in after me. The first employee helped the man ahead of me and crossed my name off. Second employee looked at the list, announced my name and I told her it was my turn, she then crossed my name off, and went ahead and served the lady that signed in AFTER me. I went to complain to the supervisor/manager but I guess all the employees decided to turn against me and bully me saying I should just wait until someone is available. I waited 45 minutes extra to be helped because there was only 1 teller and two employees in the cubicles. These employees were either Latinx or White, and they only helped the man ahead of me and the woman behind me and put ME, who waited for more than an hour and a half, LAST. I don't know whether or not they were racially biased because the man ahead of me was White and the woman after me was White as well...so you can decide. *Update* I opened a new checking, savings, & investor accounts with a new bank (NOT CHASE) that actually aligns with my values in the environment, poverty, and society. read more

If you want to wait 40 minutes just to get a new pin for your card go ahead and come through. Absolutely loved waiting here just for this little thing. Oh and if you want to go to a branch that has nobody willing to help you I say bring a cold one and some chips and camp it out!! read more

It's a bank! It does what it's supposed to. Takes my money in California & gives me money in New York. Customer service is great, it's not trader joes but they're very patient and respectful. I've had a few special request and they were able to help me out each time. They've printed forms that I needed for a money transfer out to another bank w/o an issue. I've had my checks mailed to this branch and they were very patient with my request. They've helped me out so many times at no or little cost that if I had to pay more next time I would be more than happy to pay w/o any favors/discounts. It's a business. Last time I checked businesses are in it to make money on our dime & be philanthropist on their time, so if it has to charge, so be it. read more

I came into the bank at about 4:45 to ask for my bank statements for the past two months and the process of transferring funds to another bank. I guess I should not have asked the second question, because the banker a young latina girl that sits in the cubicle in the right hand corner as you walk in the bank was beyond rude. She than proceeded to tell me that there was a 6 dollar service charge for every month statement, this is the first time I have ever been charged a service fee for bank statements! I have been banking with Chase since it was Washington Mutual, I had a home loan through Chase and was even considering financing another home with chase, but after interacting with this banker, she helped me make my decision, I definitely will be changing banks, to an establishment that values customer service, because with people like this representing chase it is obvious customer service is not a priority! read more
