Did you know that Chase Bank can close your account anytime they want and for no reason whatsoever? We were banking with Chase Bank for over 12 years and they saw it fit to close our account and paralyze our ability to operate. My suggestion is that you look for a different type of bank and not one that pounces on you when you least expect it. If you want to a consistent bank account and not worry about having your account suddenly closed without giving you ample warning, bank with someone else. read more

I have to write a review about this absurd experience at this Chase bank. I usually have really good experience at all chase branches: staff members are friendly, highly efficient in helping me with all kinds of financial matters. Today I came to this branch while all other staff members greeted me and helped me nicely, this lady in the picture had a very unexpected rude attitude. I was taking a break in the lounge after my business at the bank was done and was looking to see if they happened to have some snacks available. This lady checked me out and after I told her what I was looking she said "what do you mean by snacks? " as if I were asking an insane question. I was really surprised. I've had coffee, water, small snacks at other chase brunches while working with them numerous times before. I sat for a while and left and she chased me out to the parking lot and said I wasn't allowed to take pictures inside a financial institution. So right this is: a picture of her without any surrounding details or whatsoever of the interior of the bank itself, but I do want to let everyone to know what this lady does and what a bad attitude could affect customer satisfaction and relationship. read more

Chase Bank - A really rude staff - Banks & Credit Unions Near Me - Campbell, California

Spent 15 minutes trying to cash a a lot of checks. Said the system wasn't working. Went to another teller. Said I had to deposit. I had funds to cover all the checks and more. I couldn't cash a single one. I had to deposit. I had funds to cover all the checks btw. Definitely some sketchy work. read more

Worst service when I asked a simple question the security guard with handcuffs next to me. I went to deposit money into a friends account cash at that. I will never have my money in this bank. They were rude with no real answer. Policy does not explain. Worst service. Thank God I have a credit union that treats people like people. read more

Poor service only have one banker & it is appointment only although chase is "not appointment" only banking. Ridiculous.

Bad customer sevice.. Chase hold my first check for 13days. 13 days. Amazing. I am going to back Wellsfaro. Bye chase. read more

I went here for some questions about my account. Sally phan , the pretty and knowledgeable Banker was very helpful. Guide me to the better decision for my financial investment. I can see, she is more than just a Banker. Wonderful ! read more

I would give a ZERO if I could! Do not expect to be greeted by the bank manager or anyone else in the branch. When you walk in your greeted with a "What do you want?", not a "Hi, can I help you?" by the branch manager. I had to say Hi twice before she even acknowledged that I said it. In addition, Mina Kim is one of the worst tellers ever. Coming into the bank with an important issue (my account getting hacked), she responded by being condescending, continuously interrupted me while explaining my concerns about my privacy breach. She continued to belittle me in front of other customers. and threw her notepad at me when I requested not to state my log-in information over the counter. She became even more aggressive when I asked for her name. I don't even know if she fixed the problem- I have been a Chase customer for years, and now I feel like I am nothing to Chase. I will be going back to Stanford Credit Union. read more

A couple of newlyweds walk into a bank...wait, that's not how the story goes? Oh...well, I'll keep going! So we walked into this Chase branch to talk to someone about potentially opening a new account together. Chase offers some pretty good incentives for new accounts, and we wanted to make sure we fully understood the terms and conditions before giving it a green light. Thankfully we were helped by Sallie Chung. She's absolutely wonderful! Friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and someone we feel 100% confident in dealing with our banking needs! read more

I came in twenty minutes before closing to apply for two credit cards, and Sallie Chung was extremely helpful and efficient. She had all the forms prepared for me when I got there (without appointment), and I was able to get approved for both. She also ensured that I got my cards promptly so that I could start working on the minimum spend! read more

i called twice and both those times i heard them pick up the phone n hang up. Just rude

The bank is empty. I need to wire money. I sign at 2.25pm. It is 3pm and I am still waiting to be attended to. What would happen if it was busy? I'm thinking to myself am I at the DMV or is this a bank? Worst service ever. No one comes out to ask if you've been helped. Will not be back. Only came here coz I was on my way to Target and it was on my way. The cheap way just became the most expensive way!!!! read more

Came in on a Friday at 5:30pm and they have only 1 person helping with accounts and only 2 tellers. Line almost out the door...Walked out!!

This bank has exceptionally helpful pleasant tellers. The bankers are another story. Ever since they switched the safe deposit box opening to bankers, I have had to deal with these people. They really can only open/close accounts and safe deposit boxes, nothing else. Questions about a home loan or vehicle loan? Oh sorry use the website. Need to grab a vehicle title from your safe box? Oh wait 20-30 minutes for a banker to be free to let you in. It's ridiculous!! I have waited in that tiny waiting area only to be ignored by bankers SEVERAL times, including today by the make teller who was available. He glanced up at me, decided a mom with a baby must not have an account and kept typing on his computer. One nice feature, if you start going into banker offices trying to find help, the branch manager will help you. read more

I've never had problems at this Chase Bank, in fact, I find that the tellers are always personable. They usually spark up conversation, even if the lines are long, which I appreciate. Visits are much more meaningful when there is some other type of interaction other than a, "swipe your card now" exchange, and those have usually been the bulk of my visits to this Chase location. I only knock one star off because the location gets pretty busy, especially being at the corner of an intersection. Surprisingly enough though, I have never had problems finding parking. That's a great thing! read more

Best customer service ever. Chase has always provided great service but today my experience with the teller (1pm on 1/3/22) was outstanding. She was the most friendly teller that I have yet to come across! read more

Grace was a wonderful personal banker, very helpful and personable. She was very quick to come greet me in the waiting area too, LOVE that!

This location is the worst from its parking lot to the customer service. Payday Friday at 10am and only one window open helping a customer that no doubt has a problem and another lady behind office glass yakking on a cell phone laughing. We got her attention to get some help because at this time we had 9 people in line. The only thing she could do was grin at us and continue with her conversation. I have no spent 35 min in a line that hasn't moved with the original person still have multiple transactions and customer service problems with the teller. everyone in line knows this because the customer was raising her voice to get someone else that knows how to do the job. At this point 40 min later I walk out along with another person. Time to close accounts and find another back that can value a customer. read more

This Chase bank is very well used by many people, as if you go inside during a Friday afternoon you will know this, as you can not even find a parking spot. Usually we use the ATM's, and since they have added the newest and latest ATM's we have been very happy with this. They are working, they are clean and well maintained. One of the main reason we do not give this bank 4 stars is due to the parking lot, and maybe if we use the bank inside, we might be able to comment to the customer service. read more

I've had better Chase locations, but it's close to my work. The people are nice, but nothing super extraordinary. I'll keep coming back, if you keep doing what you're doing. And thank you, parking lot attendent, for all your work. On payday Fridays, I'm sure there would be a lot more accidents without you. read more

About 3months ago I went to the bank because I wanted to send $200 to my sister in England. I explained what I wanted to do and got a cashiers check from them. The banks in England don't accept American checks but apparently my bank did not know this. I asked about a wire and they told me what details I needed at the same time convincing me to get a credit card from them with a $200 bonus. I got the details and the banker filled in everything for the wire and sent it off after I paid a $50 fee. I went back over the next 3/4 weeks 2/3 times asking what happened to the wire without getting any info accept that the virus might be delaying it. I was given a reference/tracking number with no instruction how to use it and no computer at home. Eventually after about 4/5 weeks the wire was sent back. The bank stated that I must have given them incorrect details and advised I download the chase phone app and send it that way after I checked my sisters bank details. My sister confirmed the details she gave me but just in case sent me a picture of her other bank account on a form the bank printed out for her. The phone app was not helpful but I managed to eventually fill out the wire transfer but it was sent back again stating security reasons. I had to spend over an hour on the phone to re-activate my account as it was suspended and after checking the details again tried to send the wire again and of course it was sent back stating security reasons. I had to spend another hour re-activating my account but decided not to try again that day. I called the customer services line to complain today and after receiving the usual empty apologies I was told I was being put through to the department that dealt with wire transfers. I spoke to a gentleman for about 40 minutes who eventually said he could not help me but he could give me the number of a department that specialized in wire transfers but that it was closed for the day. I told him that I was told he was the expert but clearly he was not. He also suggested I explore other options for sending money to my sister other than the bank. All in all this supposed helpful bank has failed completely to help me send $200 to my sister in England and seems at a loss to explain what the problem is. I am seriously considering changing my bank as they are clueless and very unhelpful. read more

This Chase has HORRIBLE Customer Service!... Waited fifteen minutes for assistance to change something on my account and had 6 employees walk right past me in the waiting area with out even acknowledging me! Talk about rude and horrible service! Didn't get a "may I help you" or "someone will be with you" nothing! So guess what I walked out and when I do come back if will be to close my account with Chase and take my money to Wells Fargo! read more

Do not go to Chase Bank on Winchester in San Jose. I went in the other day to get a new ATM card because I lost mine. The banker there, his name was Joseph he is tall and skinny and he was very rude, he made some unwanted advances towards me and when I turned him down he became very rude, then just walked off, right in the middle of me asking a question. He stopped helping me and went to help someone else. He left me just standing there. He was very unprofessional, and should be fired. I think I will contact the CEO. Hello Bank America read more

I have been coming to this bank for many, many years. First it was Home Savings, then Washington Mutual, now Chase. It is a very convenient location for me from work and home, and I have enjoyed all the people throughout the years that I've met at the different banks. I was surprised to read negative comments about this Chase. I have never been given anything but the ultimate in customer service every time I go in the bank. The staff know me by name, I have never had to wait more than a few minutes in line, and yes the parking can be tight, but I always find a space! (Perhaps one should look at not going to the bank if they are in such a time crunch; there's always a spot if you can wait a minute). When I was out of work, several of the staff asked me how I was doing, and I really felt that they really cared. Most recently, I had a terrible experience; my purse was stolen from my car, along with all my credit cards and checks. I had to go in and spend quite a bit of time in Chase with Hector, closing out old accounts and checks, and creating new ones. Hector was caring, cooperative and extremely helpful in what was a really yucky situation for me. He was efficient and quick, and I left with new accounts and checks, and my new debit card came 3 days later in the mail. For such a stressful situation, I left the bank feeling very taken care of. I hope more people will give this bank a visit. I will not go anywhere else, nor do I even want to. Thanks Chase and the staff at the Winchester branch for giving great customer service! read more

I have been using this location for quite some time, and I love the in store service. I have to say, just about the company itself..Washington Mutual is a terrible bank, and it is no wonder why it went under. This Chase reminds me of The Chase I use to bank at in Willow Glen. Everyone is friendly and eager to help. I do like the fact that they have those indoor ATM's that you can withdrawal large amounts without having to work with an actual teller, not that its a bad thing or anything like that. Not a fan of the bulletproof glass because it makes me question the area but it is what it is -protect my money! read more

This branch is terrible. Usually there is only one teller actually helping customers. Even if there is a long line, the rest of the employees either aren't allowed to act as tellers or they don't care. Who knows? Just go to a different branch. read more

I used to go here a lot before the location at the Pruneyard opened up and realized again why I don't really like this location at all. Since I was going in the direction of Winchester to work today, I decided to go to this location rather than the one at Pruneyard because it is on the way. I go in, the typical environment, long line, two bankers. The line moves fast, but i get to the banker, who did not once greet me or say hello or any gesture like that. I noticed he did not have a name tag or anything on him. So I swipe my card and it did not work. I figured it did not work or something and i asked the guy and he was," No you don't need to do it." I thought to myself ,"It's just a deposit so whatever." He finishes the transaction and hands me a receipt. I said thanks and there was no response from him. I was shocked at the service, if you don't want to work somewhere where customer service is required then don't work there. I wrote a letter to them stating that fact that i chose to not go there in the past because of poor customer service, and today proves that that location is the worst one in Campbell. I would suggest going to the location at the Pruneyard unless you just need to use the ATM then go here i guess, but I will not return here due to the severe lack of customer service. read more

Waited in the parking lot for these people to open for 32 minutes I'm the first person to walk through the door 9 o'clock on the dot nice lady said that she can help as i was walking to the window she had me sit down at her desk, which was nice.. She said what can I do for you. I said I have a check to deposit into my savings and I need a cashiers check to pay my rent, out of that same acct. ...sounds so simple right?!. I hand her the check and my id card and i say I don't have a card for my savings account but here is my chase acct card linked to my checking for my other business. so she starts clicking on her computer... she asked me is a savings link to this ATM card I repeat myself again and very patient sounding plus I'm thinking maybe because I'm the first customer maybe she's still tired...... I reply no I dont have the savings connected to that ATM card, but I do have the checking account and a different business name on that card and all of my accounts should be linked in your system... While I'm sitting there........ I'm thinking what the heck! at my chase or any other chase they click a few clicks on their computer and ta dah! They have my info. This whole process usually takes 3 minutes. 15 minutes later.'.. she still can't find my account. so now she called the manager... She comes back and says is it a sole proprietor? Does a few more clicks, turns to me and asks, "why can't I find your account?" Haha it took every bit of control to not start literally laughing out loud... I almost said, "I don't know...call me crazzzzy but shouldn't i be the one asking?!" But I said, "not sure" nicely... while I'm sitting there now its 918...another lady came over and asked me a few more questions. While I'm writing this, it kind of felt like they were all a little confused lol So anyway- i call my home chase bank and I'm on the phone with the person there as he's getting ready to tell me my info then TA DUH! she finds my account. Wow! That took longer than I expected... Minus one star for the lack of knowing how to find an acct that was opened a year ago......keep 4 because they were very nice and concerned and professional. But I won't go back there again! That's for sure! read more

What a horrible location. If I could give them zero stars I would. We've been banking with them over 30 years as one bank was bought out by another with Chase being the last one. On 8/15/17, we received a letter dated 8/9/17 stating they closed our account effective 8/8/17. No explanation as to why on the letter. Just an audit being done and they decided to close our account. I thought it was a scam because it didn't have the same phone number as on my statement. So I called the statement phone number. And to my shock, it was legitimate. I asked them why. They said "We can't tell you" and "We won't reverse it" They told me just like I can close my account with them at any time they can do the same thing. The difference is If I cancel it, I have a chance to update all the accounts I have linked to this checking account. We have never bounced a check and had plenty of money in the bank. I had my mortgage payments, credit card payments, etc already scheduled to be paid and guess what?? They aren't being paid. I have my pay checks being direct deposited to the account - one being due today but it's not there either. Now I've just been told there is a 2 day business hold on the direct deposits. So that money won't be in the account until THURSDAY. BUT they won't let me take my money out unless I make an appointment to get to do that which they told me after we set up the appointment for tomorrow to get our money. They are basically thieves and crooks with how they handled this. I asked them about late charges and interest that we will probably be assessed from banks. All their response was, we can send a letter asking the other financial institutions to waive any fees. I can understand if they decide to close someones's account but you don't close it BEFORE they notify you. I will also be filing complaints with any regulators for the banking industry. All I can say is DO NOT EVER BANK WITH CHASE!! UPDATE: 8/19/17 It's gone downhill. We went to our appointment at 330pm on 8/16/17 at the Branch on Union since we didn't want to deal with the Winchester Branch. We were told that Albert would be helping us. They were also emailing him "Sorry" letters so that we could forward them to our lender and credit card company that they bounced the payments on. Well, Albert called out with a family emergency so he wasn't there and the Branch Manager Dima knew nothing about it. You think they would have called us since we had an appointment with them. So here we are, with still no access to our money because the account is restricted and no one there could un-restrict it. Dima had to call someone. We had money in a checking account and 2 savings account. He said one of the savings account was ok and could stay. Why one was ok but not the other 2, who knows. And why would we now keep any money at Chase after what they did. After an hour on the phone, he was able to get the checking account $ available to us but my direct deposit from my pay was still not showing. Also, he said the other savings account was already closed and they overnighted the check. We should have it on 8/17/17. Plus he could not access the sorry letters that were promised us. Dima said Albert should be in on 8/17 to come back for the letters. On 8/17/17, my husband was able pick up the letters. I scanned and emailed one to my lender. Unfortunately, I didn't read it before I sent it. The letter said: "WE RECENTLY CANCLED A PAYMENT MADE TO YOU BY OUR CUSTOMER AFTER WE IDENTIFIED THE TRANSACTION(S) AS INCONSISTANT WITH PAST ACTIVITY. Our customer has since confirmed the transaction(s) as correct." So they also outright lied to my lender and credit card company as to why the payments weren't made. We have been making those same payments at the same time of the month for years!! However, the savings account money did not come on 8/17/17 + my pay check was finally direct deposited into the checking account. So we called them to find out what happened. So they said, Oh, the funds were just overnighted today(8/17). You will have the funds tomorrow (8/18). I asked about my paycheck in the checking account. I asked if they can cut the check and send it to me. I was told when the account is closed, a check will be cut to me. BUT they can't tell me when the account will be closed. I finally asked to speak to the President/ Vice President some one in the executive offices. I was transferred to a Brittany Pierre. Whether she was actually in the executive offices or not, I'm not sure. She did tell me that the account would be closed the night of 8/17 or the morning of 8/18. So now here I am at 230 am on 8/19/17. We NEVER received the overnighted check from the savings account and my pay check is still showing in on-line in my checking account. So more lies. I feel they have stolen my money or are keeping it hostage for some reason. BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOU HAVE MONEY IN CHASE. read more
