I went in to deposit a check. The staff was very friendly as I entered the lobby, that's the only reason why I gave 2 stars. The teller, Ricardo was very rude and inattentive therefore, the entire interaction was very unprofessional. I'm a healthcare worker so I know what it's like to get exhausted or even burnt out , if that's the case, take some time off so that you're not providing poor customer services. His behavior was as if I he didn't want to be at work and I was came in, bothering him. Management needs to speak to him. read more

If you are a white person you better go somewhere else. I stood in line for 25 minutes and was never asked if they could help me. However, they did ask everyone else that came into that branch. I needed to wire something for the business account. It became a huge ordeal and the teller ended up coming to help me after 22 other customers were helped after me. The manager never came out of her cubicle to see what was going on. I will be closing our accounts and never using Chase again. No customer service whatsoever! read more

Y'all have the rudest workers at the location that are not willing to help at all! I cannot believe people actually bank at this location!! I didn't get that lady's name but she should NOT be the first person you come into contact with when you walk into this bank! If I could give you a no star I would read more

We came to this bank and there was a long line and only one person working. We were in line for about 40 minutes just to do a quick transaction that we had to do in person. I do not recommend this bank if you have to go inside and take care of a transaction in person. read more

I had to make a $20 deposit into my wife's account bcz she made a mistake on her register and had written a check for the water bill that would bounce. Have the $20 bill and one of her deposit slips and give to the drive thru teller. She says she can't take the deposit since I am not a signer on the account. WTF? SO I ASK TO TALK to her supervisor. Explain why it is important that the deposit is made today. She explains that due to money laundering they can't take cash deposits from anyone who is not on the account. She suggests I go to a local convenience store and get a money order. So I ask to speak to her supervisor. Next up is the branch manager who repeats this ridiculous policy and says the federal government has passed a law that restricts all banks from taking cash deposits from non-account holders. I say I can understand if it was $2000 or even $200. But for $20?!?!? She says no exceptions. It's the law. I asked her to quote the part of the U.S. code so I could look it up. She said she would have to consult her legal department. I said "Do so." to which she replied "No it would take too much time." Soooooo. I went across the street to Wells Fargo where my account is. Made the deposit to my account and then Zelled the $20 to my wife's account. Needless to say she will be closing that account. Ridiculous!!!!!!! read more

Just went to the Baytown, Texas location. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. The teller 'Elvin' was consumed with talking and giggling with another teller as opposed to helping account holders (there was a line as obviously we are preparing for a hurricane). Barely spoke or acknowledged my presence at all. Seemed annoyed that I was even there to make a deposit. A refresher course in customer service is obviously in order. Really considering moving my account. Life is too short to deal with people that are rude and annoyed that they actually have to do their job. read more

Waited in line with my 22 month old to get money from my account for over 20 minutes and then I had to go to restroom so bad! Walked into lobby with baby and puppy in hand and was told there is no public restroom for a long time customer like me! Ridiculous !!!!!!! Very disappointed they are not willing to help a desperate customer! read more

After having banked over the years with all the big guys, a few local banks and a credit union...Chase is my favorite, by far. They are always friendly, have speedy service, and I love the fact that I can deposit a check using my phone or at the ATM, and my favorite time saver is depositing cash directly at the ATM for immediate access. On a few occasions I've had to call customer service and they treat me like I'm the owner, even though my bank account says otherwise. I highly recommend you checking them out if you're looking for a new bank. read more

Will never do business with this bank ever again . The reason why is a lot to write . I would love to speak to the general manger if this location and tell he/she about my experience because it was just horrible . I'm not the type either to complain but today's been a rough day and I was very upset that my bank could not help me when it was their fault . read more

There were 4 bankers talking to each other not doing anything; I was the only customer and they made me wait a while before someone came to help me. I give them 4 stars because normally they offer good and friendly service. Not this time read more

I have been a Chase Bank customer on Garth Rd in Baytown for several years. Mostly I have been satisfied, but I wanted to write a review of an issue that caused me to lose money several years ago. I know I should have written a review then, but just didn't do it. I had retired and was thinking of rolling over money from my 401K to an IRA so it would be more accessible. After speaking to their financial adviser, I rolled over all of my funds. But he wanted me to let them manage it and I didn't feel comfortable with that so, went with the IRA. Later I found out that the financial advisor's background was as a music teacher --- nothing to do with finance at all. I could have made a much different decision had I known he was not educated in the proper field to deal with other people' money, and then it was too late to switch it back to my 401K. Not long after, this adviser was transferred to Beaumont Tx. For regular banking purposes, they are just ok, nothing extraordinary and I have that they want you to use the automatic teller machine inside the bank. I want to deal with a person --not a robot! read more
