I have been banking with BofA since before they bought Nations bank and have done (none of them…read morefree of course) several transactions very juicy for the bank throughout these years. We even put up with a rip off by a scammer out of California impersonating with a BofA website and email who BofA confirmed legit as they had no idea what properties or products they were offering back in 2011. They have serviced two of our businesses and personal accounts but today was the last straw on the camel's back. I was upset because I was offered via email if I deposited new money and keep certain average amount for 3 months I'd get paid a certain amount but typical a BofA failed promise none of that happened so I decided to go to this branch to withdraw most of. my money and instead of getting it I was interrogated by the cashier of the purpose of my withdrawal as if she was my finance advisor and after I kindly answered not to worry about it for what she replied to be careful of scams (really?) I responded I was more concerned by the fact that she offered to give me only 1/3 of the amount I wanted to withdraw and trust me it was no big amount. I left upset and decided to go to another BofA location in Marietta where they without hesitation processed my request. This is not the first time staff from this bank branch has left me down and I'm seriously considering to close my accounts for good. If profiling us important to them (that even the client next to me was nodding his head in shock for what he was hearing) I can go wherever I feel appreciated.

As much as I'd love to keep using BOA because of the proximity to my business, all 3 local branches…read moreare an absolute pain to visit. This location in particular closed their drive through and ever since then, they now only have one teller that will abandon their post whenever someone needs a specialist. They will then state, in front of a 10+ customer line, that "they must tend to the other customer because they are priority". Painfully long wait times every single time and no sense of urgency. Having BOA as my preferred bank for personal banking AND business will soon be changing because of the myriad of unpleasant experiences here. This is embarrassing for BOA and will undoubtedly affect not only BOA customers, but other Merrill Lynch preferred rewards members, too. Not good.

This is the worst example of customer service I have ever received at any branch I've ever visited…read more If I could give you 0 stars, I would. I deposited a check yesterday, and asked for a replacement debit card. Ayo Oyesola issued me a replacement card, and assured me it was activated (it was not), and that I could use it immediately. I went to QT, the card was declined (because it was not activated), when I went to activate the card, it was unable to be activated for whatever reason (and a freeze had been placed on my account). I called yesterday to see what to do, and received no response. When I called today, Ayo told me that he had done his part, and it was something that I had done. When I asked to speak to his manager, he told me that they didn't have a manager available, and that there was no one I could speak with. I've banked with Wells Fargo (Wachovia) for 25 years almost exclusively. I've always met the requirements for whatever type of accounts I've had, never overdrawn, and never had any issues on my end. After today, specifically because of Ayo, this branch and lack of organization, I'll be seeking other banking business immediately. This is unacceptable, and you shouldn't have people with this within your organization. Update: I went to a different branch, and it turns out YOU NEVER EVEN ORDERED MY REPLACEMENT CARD!! Big shocker there...

The staff has always been really nice and friendly. However, Kay Birchell, Bank Associate, remembers our names and always goes an extra mile to help us, and finds out answers to our questions. There is an other 5/3 Bank branch in Kennesaw, but I really love going to see Kay. She is very professional, but yet finds time to come out of her office to say hello, unless she is on the phone or with a client.

One instance I waited for a while on line the two employees at the front saw me in line and let someone else skip as if I wasn't even there. I told a young girl name jaida that wasn't cool she apologized and I accepted it and went about my business. The second time both workers were in the back with customers. We had eye contact because from where they are you could see the front. So they saw me. They never stepped to the side to tell me hold on or anything. I waited for approximately 25 mins next to the counter on my phone. It was so bad the a few workers at Kroger asked me if I was okay how long I was standing there. The lady finally comes out, goes to a register still doesn't acknowledge me initially then she says are you waiting for to be serviced? No I'm standing here because I like the lighting. What type of dumb question is that? So she had the guy come to a register and finish up with his customer which he did. But then he attempted to handle another task, she had to tell him take care of me I been waiting a while so he did. Then he is like sorry for the wait. Dude you could kiss my ass cause this is the second time you looked me in my face and either over looked me or played bad customer service with me. Horrible spot! I will gladly go to the chastain location where the bar is higher.

I have stopped at this location a few times. Most of the times they are busy,…read more but still the wait is not usually too long. Service is always polite and professional, but this location is kind of out of my way. Parking is easily accessible from the street and from the bank building. Still, it serves the purpose of making a payment. Maybe because I do not visit this branch so often I do not know employees by name. So, to me it's just another LGE branch.

LGE Credit Union Acworth Branch -- Poor Customer Service Experience…read more Last Monday at 5:45p, I attempted to withdraw money from the subject bank's ATM machine. I inserted my debit card, the ATM made an unfamiliar sound and then kept the card. Didn't get the opportunity to enter my PIN or to indicate what I put my card in for and no message on the screen. Just ate my card. Now, certainly ATM could malfunction from time to time, but how the CU employees and branch manager handled my plight could've been 100% better than it was. The branch was closed so I had to wait until 9am Tuesday to find out why this happened. I froze my debit card with my non-LGE CU to safeguard from anyone else getting my card. At 9am, I called LGE. Because of their phone system, I was finally rerouted to a VM. Left a message to call me ASAP. At 10am, I called again but this time their main customer service person said all she could do was send an email to have them call me. Fine. At 11am, I called again and was transferred to the same VM system that I was connected with at 9am. No call back. No one at the branch answers the phone. No response at all. At 2pm, I decide to drive back to the branch to ask what happened. The woman at the front desk and a woman from one of the side offices treated me as if I was crook or a deadbeat as soon as I said "Your ATM ate my card for no good reason." No compassion, no empathy, could care less. Meanwhile, a Brinks truck is parked right in front of the ATM that kept my card. When I asked the Brinks service person if my card was there, he said yes but he had to turn the card and a dozen other cards the ATM kept into the office. I was told the branch manager was at lunch and would call me when she got back. At 3pm, I get a call from the BM just to give a litany of reasons why it wasn't LGE's fault for my inconvenience--maybe the card was stolen (it wasn't), maybe your bank closed the account and/or cancelled the card (they didn't), we don't have anything to do with those machines (really?), maybe you did something wrong (I didn't). Every excuse except the true one (which the Brinks guy told me)--the ATM card reader failed and shutdown and kept the card. Maybe instead of treating bank customers like everyone is a crook or deadbeat, failing to answer the phone or returning a VM for over 5 hours, or failing to take ownership of a mistake your company made, you may have gained a new customer from an unfortunate situation. But no. LGE CU Acworth Branch did exactly the opposite.
