While we see shows regularly in Detroit, we figured this was no further in the opposite direction to enjoy a production. The theater is beautiful! While my husband found the vintage seats a bit on the small side, even he was quick to say that what the theater lacked in modern amenities, it made up for in quaint charm. As a previous reviewer mentioned, it has a great, fancy, Fox Theatre feel to it. Parking was also easy, just a block or so down. It may get more crowded with other venues close by, but we had no issues when we went. Temple Theater is definitely somewhere we'd love to enjoy another show.

He then talked on the phone to his buddy for more than half of the class once he started it late. He also didn't call to notify me he had to get a tooth pulled so he wouldn't be able to come to his job to teach my daughter her last class because I knew it would be her last. Then when I politely called to ask for a refund for that last class session (that he didn't show up for or call to notify us about) he told me there were no refunds. Quite expensive for my daughter not learning anything.

Service is consistently good and friendly. We love going to stardust - lots of Fun stuff to do here as well: bowling, laser tag, escape rooms, arcade, axe throwing and other stuff. Recommend ordering food in the restaurant area rather than while bowling. That can consume your play time. We made that mistake a couple times. Overall good experiences and made many memories here. Also note - they do have a metal detector at the door and security which adds to a level of safety that I appreciate.

Their fun playground had slides, swings, a small corn pit and a petting zoo! They had a lot of photo op moments throughout that were super cute! They walked us through the orchard and taught us all about apples! They also showed us how they used to make cider back in the day and my daughter got to throw an apple in the chopper. We had one of their apple cider doughnuts and some of their apple cider, they were delicious!!

I was first introduced to Marshall Fredericks at the National Museum of American Art in Washington,…read moreD.C. years ago. The taut athletic body of his polished bronze 'Torso of a Dancer' just pulled me in. I never forgot it. There is a slightly different version on display here, too. The gigantic space at this museum that holds Fredericks' works is overwhelmingly packed. (Be careful not to poke an eye out on a protruding arm, leg or toe.) Filled with white plaster originals, this marbled space is a fitting tribute to this prolific artist whose works dotted public spaces in the US. His idealized, hopeful figures captured the energy of post-war America. Obviously, to Detroiters, Fredericks is best known for the 'Spirit of Detroit' sculpture at the base of Woodward Avenue. The original plaster version is here and it's great to get a closer look at this iconic work. I was also fascinated with another smaller gallery that holds over 300 objects from the late artist's sculpture studio. It's enough to get a good sense of his working environment. Housed on the university campus, this museum also has some outdoor sculptures, too. Is it worth the drive from Detroit to check out this collection? Definitely.
