On the way out I spotted a small three legged cauldron in remarkable condition and after much self deliberation I picked it up! As it turns out. With the burner plate removed it fits perfectly inside the hole, directly over the fire ! Just like it was MADE for my wood cook stove! In this manner it can most efficiently bring it to boil. I'm so pleased I didn't DITHER! Being this close to Halloween it would have been gone by next time I got back to Floresville!

My husband and I ended up chatting with Danny, who runs the shop, and we could have stayed there talking for hours. He was so welcoming and had so many great stories about the local area, the growth around Buda, and of course all the amazing nostalgia pieces packed inside the store. The shop itself is awesome. You can tell Danny and his wife (who we didn't get the pleasure of meeting) puts a lot of heart and care into curating everything. It's the kind of place where you find little treasures tucked into every corner. From vintage shirts to classic antiques, everything has a story behind it. We honestly went in because of a t-shirt, but left feeling like we got a little glimpse into Buda's past too. Definitely a must-stop if you're in the area.
