Nice restaurant in the Neu-Westend district. Easy to reach by public transit (U-Bahn and bus). We went on a Sunday evening for early dinner and there was ample street parking.
This is a nice, small restaurant featuring local German cuisine. Friendly staff.
The menu is posted on their website and there is an additional menu with seasonal specials,
After the complementary bread service, the table shared an excellent mache salad with sour cherry dressing.
As mains, we chose the loup de mer, the salmon filet and clam on balsamic lentilsl, and the boudin w/champagne sauerkraut and mashed potatos.
The salmon was cooked on point w/crisp skin and tender meat, the lentils were delicious.
The loup de mer was served whole on a bed of veg. Service was quick to bring an extra platter for skin, head, and bones. Also, both fish entrees came with a fairly large side salad which both diners didn't expect but truly enjoyed.
The boudin was impeccable: seasoned on point, lean and a really fine texture. So good.
