After hearing so many good things about this bakery, I went there on a Saturday afternoon just…read morebefore its closing time (4 p.m.). At this hour of the day, the selection of bread and pastries was rather limited (which is understandable) so I tried the "pain au chocolat", croissant, and regular "baguette". The "pain au chocolat" and "croissant" were both good although they could have used a little more butter in their preparation. On the other hand, I was disappointed by the "baguette": it lacked sponginess and felt dry. You might argue that this is due to the fact that it wasn't bought fresh out of the oven in the morning. But anyways, a good "baguette" should still be good at 4 p.m. and is usually still OK the next morning. I don't think I'll be going back for their famed "baguette" as there are other bakeries/shops (e.g. SAM) where you can get good bread in Warsaw. All of these undoubtedly won't be using flour imported straight from the Fouché mills in France but seriously, who cares ? (Nice marketing though)

About twice the price of CAFE Green NERO, but they wont break your teeth, baguette is crispy but yet soft, in a surprising way, the content of it is not as much as quality maybe, but it does the job. It is nicer to sit at than equivalents such as CAFE Green NERO. one of the nicest environments to sit at in warsaw, but youll have to pay about 30 zl to get your stomach full, I'll keep with the half baguette and sit there for the environment, its not as much as satisfying as KFC/McDonalds at 10 zl, but it sure nice to sit there.

Rumor has it that Paul is a bakery chain from France…read more This Paul was located the Warsaw Central train station. At 1st blush I thought it was just a grab and go counter but you place your order and if you'd like to stay they will bring the food to your table. Coffee is served in a cup with saucer not paper. Food is served on paper plates not in take away bags. I had a -- A 'strong' cappuccino- it was ok but that could be because I find the espresso to be a little weak in Poland Quiche - small, tasty, filling The bread seemed to be a big seller from brioche, to savory breads, to sweet breads -- very popular buy at 7am. If your in the train station, it's a cute little spot to grab a sit down bite before you jump a train.
