Yes, I have been buying from you guys every year and for the most part I've been absolutely happy with the produce but I bought a cantaloupe that was sour when I cut into it smelt terrible. I took pictures to bring back out and did that and I was told they could not replace the Cantelope that is poor business so I don't intend to be buying from you guys anymore. If you can't stand behind your customers that is terrible Business , for the price of one cantaloupe that she would lose several customers. I ran a business for 47 years so I understand the customer is always right and they informed me that because it had been four days there was nothing they could do about it ......excuse me.!!!!!! Best fresh produce. Vine ripened locally grown tomatoes for the perfect BLT or just a tomato sandwich. Water melon so sweet it taste like they added sugar. Have been thru a bushel of corn already. And all the other fresh seasonal veggies too. Peppers and squash, zucchini and cucumbers, cabbage and kale...the list goes on and on. You can go I. The field and pick it yourself or you can use o e of their wagon and load up from what they picked for you. Oh, I forgot about the SC peaches too. Yum yum. This place is worth driving to from the coast. It's about 5 miles outside of Wiggins on Hwy 26. Check it out!!! read more

For the Wiggins location. We bought from the already picked tent this season and found the selection to be rather disappointing. We also found that after weighing our product at home and comparing the weights to the cost we saved very little to nothing, and in some cases it cost more than the average grocery store. I don't believe this to be an organic farm, as it is not advertised as such, so the disappointment of realizing that there was no real savings and that buying "farm fresh" was our only incentive really sucked. However, that too diminishes if you include the gas to get there. I can't imagine the $10 pick-it-yourself buckets would be any better if you actually realize how little you get in a 5 gallon bucket which you have to bring yourself. We literally paid $2 more list price for a watermelon on site at Charlies U-Pik in Wiggins than was offered at our local Walmart from the same farm with the same label and for the same size during the same season--we actually saw a tub of them the day after we had bought it from the farm. Overall, I believe this to be a marketing sideline gimmick and I won't be fooled again. But don't take my word for it--buy it, weigh it, and cost it out for yourself. read more
