Based on the advice provided by their team, I processed the final payment on August 19 directly from my Redwood Credit Union checking account. When I called today to check on the status, I was informed that my payment had been placed on a 9-business-day "hold" to ensure it cleared--despite the funds originating internally from my own RCU checking account. To make matters worse, I was then told it would take an additional 4 to 6 weeks from today just to receive the title. People rely on precise, accurate timing when managing major financial and logistical matters--not vague excuses and empty apologies after the fact. Because RCU provided inaccurate information upfront and mishandled the internal processing, my vehicle cannot depart as scheduled tomorrow. I am now forced to cancel and reschedule international shipping at the last minute, incurring substantial additional costs. RCU's severe lack of accuracy and accountability has put me in a major operational bind, completely destroying the trust built over nearly two decades.
